I'm curious about the new nuclear facility in Mississippi. Anybody know what that is referring to?

The ones I use are comfortable enough. I'm generally on 4+ hours of meetings/calls a day (I'm sure there are people that are on more) and I don't have any comfort issues. I don't have to turn them on or sync them; I just pick them off the cradle. Avoids any potential WFH background noises, and people can hear me much clearer. Kind of like a camera - the built-in camera on my laptop works fine, but the external camera I have produces a much better picture.

I wonder if the Ole Miss staff did something behind the scenes that made other coaches (at least Lane and Sark) mad.

Didn’t Tubberville basically say the same thing back in the day?

Might be best just to use whatsapp. RCS is carrier dependent and I am under the impression that lots of international carriers have been slow to adopt RCS.

Anyone noticing their algorithm feeding them a non stop relentless barrage of feminist misandrist rage bait?
Seems like once the calender flipped to 2026 my FB feed is literally 75% feminist rage bait about how 97% of women. The hunting down and murdering of women is apparently reaching crisis levels all of a sudden too with dozens of women being murdered by men every minute of every day according to feminist.
No, can't say I've been seeing that.
Best thing you can do is get out of the algorithm as much as possible. I've deleted everything but Twitter/X and I really need to delete that as well. I've come to rely on it for news, weather, and my job so it will be pretty painful.

Every story like this makes me shake my head that the sediment diversion projects get killed. Blow a few holes in the levees at strategic spots and the river will do most of the work for us. But we can't have the seafood industry be inconvenienced one iota.

I have the Poly Voyager Focus 2 for work and the noise cancellation on the mic is fantastic (nobody every hears anything going on in the background around me). There are buttons that integrate with Teams/Zoom, when you pick it up and put it on your head it can auto-answer the call, flipping up the mic boom mutes the mic, and it has solid range when you use the dongle. It can also do Bluetooth but I think the range with the dongle is a little better.
HP apparently bought them and I don't know what their quality is like now. I have had mine for a while with no issues.

Ain’t nothing wrong with a little egg shell in your diet anyway. Extra calcium.

Haven’t watched the video yet but we at least had a shot with the diversion projects until the seafood industry “lobbied” the governor enough to kill the Barataria project.
re: Does USAA have better insurance rates and service, generally speaking?
Posted by WavinWilly on 4/28/26 at 9:11 am to CatfishJohn
I have found their homeowners insurance rates aren't competitive in Houston or SELA if you can get them to even write a policy. As for auto, for some reason for me they are by far and away the best. I shop around every year and nobody even comes close to the rates USAA gives us.

Why weren't all these "immunocompromised" people wearing cloth face diapers that do absolutely nothing to stop virus particles before March of 2020 then?
Plenty of people going through chemo wore and continue to wear masks. Also organ transplant recipients, and anyone else on immunosuppressive treatments. It’s not uncommon and wasn’t before Covid. You just may not have noticed. But it was and is definitely a thing.
Still don’t understand why people get so worked up about it. I don’t wear one, but don’t gaf if somebody does.
People were just psychologically primed for noticing it after Covid.

Some people might be immunocompromised.
Getting worked up over somebody else wearing a mask seems like a waste of energy.

The H1Bs are a massive problem, and I don't understand why we can't do anything about it. They are almost always incompetent. And then there are cultural issues on top of it that don't help the situation.

While the Tigers are the premier program in college baseball and have been since Jay Johnson came to Baton Rouge, ‘The Powerhouse’ could find themselves still battling with the likes of gymnastics and softball for NIL.

I’m also told when it comes to Johnson’s recent comments flirting with MLB interest, the school would love to have him, but would unlikely go ‘all out’ in order to keep him in Baton Rouge
Every word of this is unacceptable in the highest degree
At least gymnastics recently won the National Title recently and seems to be one of the top 2 or 3 programs in the past several years. The PMAC is packed for all of their regular season meets and season tickets sell very quickly.
Even still gymnastics should not be draining money from baseball. And softball damn sure shouldn't even be in the conversation.

I’m new to post season gymnastics. How did we wind up with an individual competitor from West Virginia? They weren’t in the region correct?
And how many individuals will there be tonight?

We don’t really have a great answer to the drone swarms yet. Are you ready to see US soldiers and marines getting killed by FPV drone strikes on Twitter and YouTube? Like you see from Ukraine?
I think we will develop countermeasures. But we don’t appear to have them yet…
