Technically you ended that possession back across the 50.

Just saying.

2006, getting turned down by everyone and their grandmothers for the coaching job.... great, we're doomed to be Ole Miss of the state.

2010 the WHOLE YEAR SUCKED!!!

football.... a 10 win season is solid, but the style of losses were just

softball....Bama#1 seed overall in Tuscaloosa, Hawaii#16 seed.... Hawaii walk off homerun to win in the bottom of the last innning.

gymnastics....#2 ranked, eliminated ourselves in the first rotation of finals

basketball.... not even memorable

We know. It sucked. I've never stopped watching an LSU game before it was over in my life until that one. Yeah yeah I know "they made my arse quit!"

Just glad it's over.

That 2010 Bama team was the 2nd most talented team in CFB history. Their backups were all American talent. How Bama lost 3 games is beyond me.

2002 was rough. (Started following at end of 1999)

A combined score of 62-7 in losses to Auburn and Alabama (I would nuke the iron bowl if I could), on top of still being able to win the west and losing it to shitty Matt Jones in the last minute.

While disappointing, losing in a national championship game would not be a low point when compared to a 2-9 season.

Right. Every team in CFB would choose to be SEC CHAMPS but lose in BCSCG Than not make the game at all.

I can totally understand the Aggie jar love for JFF, live through a couple seasons of Jerrod Johnson and when you finally get a capable QB it's like a heaven sent savior.

Nagging injuries to key players and a complete lack of experience in the secondary and on the OL.

You didn't get to see that team healthy and hitting on all cylinders until the bowl game.

Actually, I think I may change my answer. Boise State 2011. It was after Georgia tarded it's way through 2010 and The dawgs had just purged the bad apples on the roster and given the richtator another chance after having his arse handed to him for a year.

So how does he respond? Georgia proceeds to get skull dragged by a bunch of god damn WAC players. The team was clearly out of shape, Petersen wasn't coaching circles but fricking figure 8s around richt, our first attempt at the hurry up turned out disastrous, Crowell didnt do dick, we were on national television with our pants around our ankles while smurfs pounded away and to top it off? We were sporting some kid's fricking power ranger costume the entire god damn time. I guess I should be thankful because perhaps now people will forget to associate Georgia with that sorry fricking excuse of a football game.

Instead of cleansing our collective pallet and forgetting that Georgia football had been eroding for 3 years, instead of the hype and return of excitement with a big game, instead of our triumphant return to the stage in front of a national sudience all we had to replace the sour taste in our mouth was a 35-21 beatdown (because dont let that score fool you, we got fricking demolished following the 1st quarter). And then we got to see richts shite eating grin in the post game interviews where he basically said "oops."

frick that game and frick mark richt
This ladies and gentlemen is a rant. Take notes.

I was at that game. I won't ever forget the look on some of your fans faces. Like you said, it was alomost like they wanted to quit being ole miss fans period.
it really was like that. I thought Ole Miss fans seriously were quitting. After Trent jukes homeboy twice right in front of my seats, I went to get nachos and the ole miss fans looked as if they had just buried their mother.

I sat in Oxford in 2009 and watched Les and JJ shite all over the field. The last 30 seconds of that game was baaaaaaaad.

However, it will never top UT in Tiger Stadium in the infamous 12 men on the field game. Even though we won I felt dirty about it. Not to mention the people in the stands yelling and throwing things. Drinks, food, seat cushions, chair backs...... it was insane.

Every time Dubose coached a game for us it seemed like I heard a new BAD record being set or a GOOD records or streaks we had being damaged.

It was not just one game... it was a TON of negative accomplishments that were constantly humiliating.

But if I had to say one game upset me the most? Ironbowl 2000. 9-0. 3 field goals in that game and the return to BDS. Rainy, cold arse night it was. Walking back to car to drive home sucked almost as bad as watching the whole game until the clock ticked out.

Maine.

I witnessed us lay a pile of steaming crap against freaking Canadians. Walked out of the stadium swearing I wouldn't buy season tickets again till Croom was gone. And I held to it.

Too many to count but the time period between a bunch of 3&outs against Clemson and the Cameron hire pretty well sucked.

Hard to put my finger on the worst, but it would probably be one of these two:

2000 season - Everyone knows the story, we go into the season preseason #3 and end up going 3-8 in a season which hatched the Albert Means scandal. I'll never forget going over to my uncle's house with my family for this big party to watch the UCLA game opener, how happy everybody was when Milons ran the opening punt back to give Bama the early lead. But god damn, it was all down hill from there.

You would think that game, because of the expectations would have been the low point. (or maybe the late season loss to Central Florida.) But no, not for me. For me it was Week 3, the afternoon Southern Miss won 21-0 in Tuscaloosa, a game I still have not seen...because I went to the LSU-Auburn game that day with my high school girlfriend and her Auburn family. Auburn beat the shite out of Saban's first team, and throughout the game, they kept announcing "Southern Miss 21 - Alabama 0" and the crowd would just go fricking wild. It was fricking awful. Little did I know how bad things were about to get in the coming years.

or

2007 Iron Bowl - 2000-2006 was a rough go of it for Bama fans, no denying that, but a decent year in 2005 and the firing of Shula/hiring of Saban after the 2006 season had reenergized the fanbase quite a bit. I was ready to go by the start of the 2007 season, and hey, we went 6-2 with wins over Arky and UT to start the year. Things were good, recruiting was good, we were "back" IMHO at the time. And then Javy ran that kick back against LSU, giving us the lead late in the 4th, "we might actually pull this off." But then there was that JP fumble to set LSU up on the goal line, that 98 yard pick 6 against MSU, the Jimmy Johns fumble against ULM, and then, we go into Auburn, who we've lost 5 straight to, and for some reason, I accept a free ticket and go with one of my Auburn buddies.

The game itself wasn't a blow out, but it never really felt like Bama had a chance, especially when DJ Hall's dumbass dropped that touchdown in the endzone which Powers promptly picked. But the low point, was leaving the stadium. 4 game losing streak, 6 game losing streak to Auburn, their fans all euphoric and drunk, a couple of obnoxious ones mixed in there. I've said it before on this board, but as we left the stadium I remember thinking I didn't think even Saban could fix this shite. Just an awful feeling as a fan. Incredible how quickly he turned it around after that.
