Can I Say it Again? Thank God We Are in the SEC!

What an amazing first year. We had some unexpected successes (football), some failures (men's basketball), and some disappointments (baseball). All in all, I am so happy we are finally home in the SEC.
All year it has been surreal. I've always felt that we should have come with Arkansas in the early 90s and that we were always a long lost SEC school. Culturally, we have never fit in a league so well. We may not be "deep south", but Texans have the same values: God, Guns, Military, Family, Good Food, and Football!
The SEC fans are the best there are. Yeah, we give each other shite on this site, but we all have each other's back. We've never had that before. The business partnership that is the SEC is demonstrated daily as we all strive to make the league better. This was on display this week in Destin.
Thanks letting us in the family. We are proud to be here.

I love giving ATM fans hell, but I'm glad and very proud to have you guys in the conference. Texas A&M has been a fantastic addition to the SEC and I can't wait to make the trek to College Station when we play you guys. I've been telling my gf, who's not a huge college football fan, that we are going whether she wants to or not. Go Aggies but "Roll Damn Tide"!!!
