Now, I'm asking this question in a different fashion than it has been asked before, and here's why and how:

We have to feel good about another SEC team winning it all again this year. We'll start the season with five in the Top Ten, correct? Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, SCAR not necessarily in that order. A&M will probably make it six I guess, I dunno? Or will Florida not be in the Top Ten and A&M will be? I guess that's possible.

Any one of those five could win it all - we have to agree on that, correct? (Not counting A&M, they will not win it all this year, no chance imho.)

So here is where my question differs.

Let's assume, no, better yet rather than assume let's just ... well, yeah, let's assume the Conference wins our 8th in a row this year if the Lord is willing and the creek don't rise.

What is your team looking like in 2014? I know for a fact SCAR is going to be better in 2014 than this year, even though I think we have an outside shot this year, I said most of last year that 2014 would be our year because we were so young last year, and will still be young this year.

Bama is constantly reloading, as is LSU ... both will be primed for a run in 2014.

I can see Georgia and Florida both being stout in 2014.

A&M in 2014? I don't know enough about them to say. That will be JFF's Junior season, right?

Okay, so 2014 leads-up-to the first playoff. The Rose and Sugar will host the semis and the Cotton will host the Championship Game.

Shouldn't we be able to see far enough ahead to feel good, as a Conference, about continuing the streak through 2014 (by winning the first playoffs in January of 2015)?

I don't know about 2014 for bama, LSU, and possibly A&M.. all three will have new Qb's if JFF goes pro after this year.. I think that might be a year for a team from the east to win it all.

ND probably was one of the best non-SEC teams in the country, so that's an indicator of the current gap.

The problem the league now faces is that both divisions have three teams that can beat each other.

It's getting tougher (as crazy as it sounds) to go undefeated in the SEC while the other conferences have only that one heavy team as a standard bearer who cn go undefeated.

If the streak ends, it ends because an SEC isn't in the Natty. I don't see an SEC team lose on the field.

A&M will be the second highest rated SEC team to start the year.

LSU seriously looks like we're gonna be stacked as frick for 2014. We had a hell of a recruiting class in 2013, which is a good base... and unlike our recruiting classes of recent years, it seems like we ended up with an abnormally high number of early-enrolled players who are already in camp trying to separate themselves.

That and it'll be the second year under Cam Cameron's system, so there won't be any adjustment pains.

2013 looks really good already -- I doubt we make a title run, this is going to be Alabama's or South Carolina's year, IMO, but a BCS at-large berth is not out of the question. 2014 looks like our year.

IMO, I don't see any school besides tOSU breaking the SEC dominance up.

And as stated 2013 looks great but if '14 continues down this road..... DAMN

I don't see how anyone really expects a team no named Alabama to win the final BCS Title. It's destiny.

As for 2014, I don't know about everyone else, but Bama will be ready to make another run, just some projections.

QB - Alec Morris
RB - TJ Yeldon
FB - Jalston Fowler
LT - Leon Brown (CyKo could stay if he wanted to play with Arie some more)
LG - Arie Kouandjio
C - Ryan Kelly
RG - Grant Hill (just a guess)
RT - Austin Shepherd
TE - OJ Howard
WR - Amari Cooper
WR - DeAndrew White
WR - Chris Black

DE - Dalvin Tomlinson
DE - LaMichael Fanning
NG - Darren Lake
Jack LB - Jon Allen
Will LB - Reggie Ragland
Mike LB - Trey DePriest
Sam LB - Denzel Devall (think he fits at Sam more than Allen, but they could swap)
CB - Geno Smith
CB - No idea, literally no idea. Hoping it's Cook, could by Cyrus Jones.
S - Landon Collins (HaHa goes pro)
S - Vinnie Sunseri

We'll return a lot, it'll come down to our QB, with that said way too early to tell how good we'll be, but I imagine two SEC teams will make the playoffs and we'll probably be one of them.

2014 will be the year of the unexpected, perhaps UT, Arkansas, Auburn, or even Ole Miss (if they can keep recruiting the way they have been)

So you really think South Carolina has a better chance than A&M at winning it all? Lololol.

The streak will break eventually. Some team will just have an off game in the National Championship. I would not be happy if the SEC lost the streak by not having a representative in the title game, but that will soon be extremely unlikely with the four team playoff.
