That's a lot of word there Memphis.
Let me simplfy it.
Will you be better all around than you were last year, because we will be.
The game will be in Oxford and while that may not freighten you, that means the team that returns everyone from last season... that team that lost because of a blown punt assignment, will not be playing in the most intimidating environment in the country.
Unless you're ready to say that next years LSU team will be better all around than last years then just accept that OM fans will be optimistic when y'all roll into town.

I am very ready to say that this years LSU team will be better all around. Without a doubt. Offensively we will be MUCH improved, special teams will stay the same if not improve, (def improve in the return game with Jaryl Brazil coming to town) The defense will be as good, and better in the secondary.
That being said I also believe Ole Miss will be much improved. So thats that. Should be a fun game this season.

You got blown out by a shitty Texas team in Oxford. Did your fans ( the difference makers between winning and losing) NOT show up for this game?
So you're stupid

With exception of clockgate in '09, when's the last time the bears beat LSU in Oxford?

You don't quit understand.
Martin has contributed plenty the past two years. He really can't be worse than Reid last year.
Both Jalen's started games last year as well.
Collins played LG all last year, and now he's switching back to LT. The spot he was recruited for, and played in HS. He was arguably the top LT in the 2011 class.
Again DL is a question mark. The depth chart at the moment is the following
DE
Rasco
Hunter
Allen
Feist( will switch back to LB in the fall)
We get the following players at DE in the fall.
Frank Herron
Lewis Neal
Michael Patterson
T'Shaun Bower
At DT it's a little easier. Losing Logan stings little ATM.
Freak
Ego
Christian Lacatore
Mickey Jonhson
Quentin Thomas
We expect in
Gilmore
Bain
The 3 wild cards are our LB's that arrive in the fall.
Riley is a true OLB, but Beckwith and Jones have athleticism through the roof. Not to mention they already have SEC size.

on offense? absolutely, no question, at every single postion.
in the secondary? last year we returned 2 starters. Simon and Reid. Both played poorly last year. This year we return Loston, Mills, Eugene in the secondary. plus collins played a ton as the #3 CB. We have 1 safety spot to fill and that is with a JR in Martin who played a ton last year. All of those guys are seasoned veterans.
LB? last year we had one experienced LB, Minter, This year we lost 1 LB. Minter. We return kwon alexander back form injury, started 2 or 3 games last year. Barrow who had 103 tackles. Welter and Tahj Jones back from suspension. Debo Jones got some nice playing time last year as well along with Lamar Louis. We are WAY deeper at LB than we were last year.
DL like memphis said is the only question and return 2 tackles with lot of PT in Freak Johnson and Ego. Rasco is JR has tons of PT at DE. The other DE is a question and depth is a question.
when is the last time LSU didnt have a good DL?
yea, we're gonna be better.
playing at oxford is not a big deal, we have a very experienced offense which is a good thing when going on the road.
last year you were also playing a ton of LSU players that had one thing on their mind at that point in the season. $

There is no doubt. I don't expect your WR's to get behind our DB's near as effectively this year. DB play was a major disappointment this past year, and it's being addressed

with a new/better OC, and a second year starter at QB, they'll definitely be better on offense.... and I'm willing to bet the defense will be top 15 nationally.
That should be enough to be a decent Ole Miss team.

6-6 at best, IMO. Probably 5-7 with an additional loss to Arkansas. Maybe even 4-8 splitting Missouri and Miss State. Frick, if ya start out 1-6, the whole team could implode and you could lose against Idaho or Troy too. That's a pretty hard schedule.

Rantards everywhere in this thread. You frickers better wise up LSU's schedule is just as hard and your offense is still going to be garbage.
