Here's a question why do Missouri fans spell it ku? Is it like the sips thing with A&M/Texas?

No one said they won't root for you if they're in the building. They very likely will. But no one is buying up tickets (as you asked) just for that though.
And thats why I'm telling UK-Ville is apparently a faggy, soft rivalry. If ku were stepping foot on our home floor to make it "their" place for the Dance their would be people "buying up tickets just for that" on our part in droves, yes.
You taking your amazingly loyal fan self to all the NIT games this year?

Seeing as it's in Pittsburgh and I work full-time, no I am not unfortunately. I would if it was in Lexington and within driving distance.

Not even close.

It pains me to even type the shite in any form whatsoever. But you guys might not yet get some of the other derogatory terms we use for em so lower case is best we can do.

Mizzou 101 - never capitalize the "k" in kansas. Kind of a disrespectful gesture.

I think what it means is if UK were to play the Ville in St. Louis in the tourney, we're supposed to buy up as many tickets and sell them to Louisville fans? Frick that SEC brotherhood bullshite everyone tries to espouse.
I think there is a difference in kU in the Scottrade Center, and kU in Mizzou Arena dont you?
I dont expect UK to buy up a bunch of tickets though.

I was always told that its not a Proper Place or a Proper Noun. Therefore it is kansas.

Meh. Get a better fanbase.

kansas is not a proper noun and therefore never capitalized. Just like you don't capitalize the words wasteland, shitepile and so on.

Gotcha thanks for the info.

Don't need to. I won't have to beg and plead for Pittsburgh area UK fans to fill up their 3,000 seat gym at Robert Morris without me.

No question about that. I just thought STL already had a regional lined up. Wasn't sure if COMO was hosting any early rounds.

We are referred to as "Slavers". And no, that is not a joke.

I hope y'all pummel Wisky. Frick the Big 10. No Henderson fan here, but I hope he gets in their head and goes off for 40.

Some observations about BBN and this years tourney :
If Robert Morris holds 3,00 then it will be a home game for UK in that Cal is from there and many who attend may be his peeps
I do not think I have ever booed in my life and I know some in BBN who are this way and will not be disrespectful and boo
Rupp was from Kansas and UK vs KU is a rival but a competitive one so I am not sure folks in Rupp would boo the Jayhawks. Last year at the Final Four I hung out with KU and UL fans but it was the Ohio State fans who were insufferable.
BBN has pretty solid fans who know and respect the game so they will probably get behind any team that plays well. If you want them on your side then earn their respect.
Since your colors are similar to Vandy's maybe could disguise yourself and folks will cheer for you as Vandy over Louisville.
Some UK fans view rivals by the hardware they posses so staying ahead of UNC or IU is preferred and UL has a long way to go just to draw even to UK. I would laugh tho if the Cards start winning the ACC every year once they join.

I will overlook the Mizzou assclown in this thread and instead remind everyone that in 2002, UK fans were instrumental in Duke losing to Indiana in Rupp Arena. The place was very loud for IU from start to finish because UK fans came to cheer against Duke. Do you honestly think they won't do that to UofL? You can bet your hindparts if Mizzou stays close, there will be no home court advantage for UofL.
Keep in mind also that it's a fact of life that SEC founding members don't waste an opportunity to do the SEC chant and remind every other conference of their place in the world [particularly given the amount of poo that has been rained on us the past two weeks from national talking heads]. I was in New York at the Garden when John Wall decided to cream all over UConn's face and the SEC chant could be heard from the street. Great moment in history.
BBN takes down #1 Duke
