Why do LSU fans try to compare their team to Bama?

Even in our dumpster fire of a season, Bama came into Fayetteville and knocked us the frick out. Meanwhile, LSU comes to Fayetteville and Les Miles shits his pants as Tyler Wilson's golden arm throws a fade to the back corner of the endzone on the final play of the game that would have sent the game to overtime. The only thought traveling through Miles' mind was "Damnit, not again!".

Moral of the story, Arkansas didn't even score on Bama. LSU left Fayetteville with shat pants.

Clearly we are tMeasuringStick.

Would the LSU-Bama game not be the measuring stick?

That is a strange way to position Arkansas a valuable member of the SEC.

I try not to compare, but I think what you are looking for is "because Bama is on top right now and LSU is the only team that has beat said team with any consistancy, so it is logical to compare to Bama to see where LSU stands." It's all relative. Right know Arkansas could compare their team to Tenn, they are about even right now in terms of production and head coaching changes.

To be fair if you are trying to compare the 3 teams, Wilson sat out against Bama b/c he had a headache or something. (Yes, I know ULM knocked him the frick out and give him a concussion, calm down piggies.)

So it really isn't fair to compare how Arky played against us and how they played against LSU.

It makes a difference when you play Arkansas in the third game of the season and they don't have Tyler Wilson versus last game of the season and they do. Not an excuse, it's a fact.

Also, it's no secret, LSU put all their marbles into the Bama game. We should've won, but we didn't and that pretty much deflated the rest of the season.

Miles can't coach offense.

But why are you always posting about LSU?

Are you obsessed?

If your team's players just gave as much as half the effort their fans give on Internet trolling, yall's trophy case wouldn't be as cobweb infested as it already is.

Drewbie: rivalry games are usually close no matter the circumstances. We can compare ourselves to Bama because we win Championships.

Arky shits the bed when they have those chances

The difference is that LSU plays timid and The Tide plays with authority. Alabama plays with the attitude of we are suppose to win and LSU plays with the attitude of, "we are very good, I just hope we win".

Alabama rules the SEC right now and that's just the way it is. We will suck again one day but it will be about ten years from now.
