SEC Power Rankings - Mayans were wrong edition

1. Missouri
2. Florida
3. Kentucky
4. Ole Miss
5. Alabama
6. Tennessee
7. LSU
8. Arkansas
9. South Carolina
10. Texas A&M
11. Vanderbilt
12. Auburn
13. Mississippi State
14. Georgia
I'll admit it right now. UF fooled me. We have no depth. Only 7 deep. No "star" player that can get a basket when you need it the most. And we got owned by yet another team that plays like Tennessee.
Missouri is the class of the SEC right now, and its not close.

Put the damn liquor down man. I wouldnt place Mizzou ahead of us just yet. Yes...I know we stunk tonight...we are a point guard away from being a great team. Boynton has been out of place and it has affected his shooting. Tip your cap to Kan State...in their place and they arent chopped liver...they stuffed us with defense and we never ever shoot half as many FTs as our opponents..its funny how that happens..even at home.
Donovan showed how pizzed he was by putting two frosh in the lineup late to send a signal. I would not want to be at the next team practice.

the class of the SEC in basketball in no particular order is Florida, UK, and Mizzou.

Kentucky belongs at the top. Period. They have the most talent as usual and will still be there when it counts at the end. Florida is still very, very good. No need to start sucking our dicks just yet. If you watched us vs Louisville you know we can still have our troubles against speedy backcourts. And if you've watched Mizzou basketball like, ever, in its history, you'd realize what we do is play well at times like this, boost our league's RPI, then flub epically when it counts later on. That's sort of our niche.
Arky and Tenn are still capable of doing plenty of good things talentwise as they progress. Not sure what is wrong with Bama. Rest of the league is just an RPI ball and chain.

bama ahead of LSU. we lost by 4 on the road, they lost at home to mercer.
