Probably not.

We will win the NC in 17 days. that will make BACK 2 BACK champions.

Then we are already preseason #1 for next and the Vegas favorite to win the NC AGAIN.

That will make BACK 2 BACK 2 BACK champions in exactly 1 year from Jan. 7th

Bama got the defensive players last year. This year offense, next year defense.

We have the best QB class in the country. The top 2 JUCO WR's, two TE's, and possibly a 3rd if McNeil makes. plus we flipped two of your commits. Just STFU.

You mad? And how McNeil can qualify at LSU and not Alabama is beyond me. Now run along if you don't like the thread.

I don't like the poster actually. I guess he'll qualify the same way Eddie Lacy did for Bama. With summer course work taken in a University setting with excellent tutors and guidance. Then again maybe he won't, but the OP's goal was to create a flame thread to troll other SECRB fans. So no, I don't like the thread or the OP, and thus I told him to STFU.

But you've only got 2 defensive players in the top 67 and since that's the new benchmark for a good class, what gives?

Debatable. I know Scout sucks, but I believe they're the only site to do team rankings by position and they have LSU 3rd. LSU, Ole Miss (Liggins, Buchanon, Kincade), A&M (Stewart, Hill), and Alabama (Bateman, McLeod, Del Rio) all have legitimate arguements for having the best QB class in the country.

Why would you only go top 67? If you're going to use "247 sports", you need to go off the top 247:

Alabama has 8
LSU has 7
Texas A&M has 4 (Griffin won't qualify)
Florida has 3
Georgia has 3
Mississippi State has 2
Auburn has 2
Tennessee has 1
South Carolina has 1
Vanderbilt has 1

Now let's add in top Prep school recruits:

A&M +1
LSU +1
Ole Miss +1
Mississippi State +1

Now add JUCOs:

Mississippi State +2
Ole Miss +3
Florida +1
LSU +2
Alabama +1
Auburn +1
Texas A&M +2
Georgia +1

Even after you go 0-2 against Manziel?

You think 1 loss matters?

I will gladly let Manziel beat us again if we get another NC.

In the big picture, it doesn't matter
