These public showings of his wealth will more than likely result in resentment building from his teammates. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of missed blocking assignments in the bowl game. I have heard that Sumlin has already had a sit down with Manziel about it. Looks like the kid doesn't listen.

Yeah, no

Defensive teammate Johnathan Stewart (senior, #11) has been with him at many of these events (namely the Cowboys game and the Miami game--he was standing right next to him in the LeBron photo). And he's not the only teammate to have accompanied him on these excursions.

Nice try, though.

you don't see the difference between some tennis shoes accrued over a long period of time and a flurry of high profile events in a couple of days?

How could you be so obtuse?

Literally the best thing to happen to a university starving to distinguish itself is going to somehow slip past the watchful eye of an already paranoid A&M compliance department? The same one that had to hire a full time staff just to effectuate all the cease and desist orders needed to suppress the improper use of "Johnny Football" by bootleggers?

I'm incapable of articulating the depth of your stupidity.

Either you're retarded, or Johnny and A&M are literally doing all they can to bring down the best thing that's ever happened to this football program.

Court side tickets to Heat v. Mavs? The day following court side tickets to the Rockets? Pictures with two of the most famous athletes in the world at said events? A&M and Johnny would have to try to get busted if there was any illicit behavior in this situation.

How do you not see this?
wah, wah, big words

listen a-hole, I was just responding to the guy who somehow thought this involved JFF's recruitment, and let him know what this thread was about. i never casted any blame or implied that JFF did any wrongdoing. so take your "I'm an aggie and I think I'm smarter than you" insults elsewhere.

Cam was a better deal because at least he delivered a championship. It's sad to see aTm get slammed so early. It's been fun aggies.

Manziel's family is very wealthy. Those of us from Tyler used to joke that the Manziel family were the mafia operating in Tyler just because of the business operations they owned. His dad has a construction business, car sales, restaurants, etc. Johnny doesn't need improper benefits he already has all the resources he needs to do these things.

Not all college football players come from an economically disadvantaged background. A&M has many that did not. I'm sure Vandy has many that did not. I can see where a person from Louisiana might have trouble comprehending a kid being able to attend a pro sporting event, courtside, without some fan footing the bill.

First of all, A&M is not near the level of Vandy so stop kidding yourself. You are in shitville east texas.

If you think that there are no kids on the LSU team that come from wealth then you are really dense. There is no oil business in Louisiana or any pro teams to sit courtside...

Being from Texas myself I think it is hilarious when A&M fans start touting their supposed superior wealth and superior mental capacity. I know people that went to A&M and they have this blank cult-like stare and goober nature which is beyond creepy. I find it funny when aggies try to act like they are something more than what they are.

The problem for Jiz Jar Johnny is that he is asking for the NCAA to look into these high profile events and seating assignments more thoroughly even if some are legit. If they all check out then fine but I have a hard time believing that all these events are legit and he paid for them himself. Who paid for the defensive player who is in the pictures with him? Does his family have oil money too??

solid point. even if JFF's family gave him the tickets, they can't give one to the other guy.

see Leinert's father buying the condo and letting a teamate stay there for precedence

No, that's not a superior air toward ALL. Just LSU grads.

C'mon, man. We all know LSU is a good school. We are just ribbing you. Your super sensitivity makes it worse. Do you know how many dumb Aggie jokes there are?

Not sensitive, just find it funny. Believe me I rib other fan bases as well inluding the aggies so I know how it works. That being said, I have noticed a common theme with the ags, not just on this board, of a "shite doesn't stink" attitude.

Aggies, this is the final step into your indoctrination into the SEC. You just have to learn to accept the fact that your school cheats now. Everyone does it. Even if he bought those seats, you can't really believe that getting into the locker room wasn't a benefit of him being the Heisman winner. It is what it is.

Like someone said, whoever "sold" him the seats isn't talking, and neither is JFF. They don't have to. The NCAA has no subpoena power, so ATM can just tell them and Steve Kerr to go share a jizz jar together. Other schools have now learned from the arrogance shown by USC and Ohio State. Any compliance department worth its salt knows how to cover tracks much better.

So, in short, you cheated. We all cheat. But we're the SEC, so we get away with it. Once you've won double digit NC's like Bama, you'll be able to hold as much as you want, too.

This is not true. "prior relationship". And supposedly Stewart's dad is a judge or something, so not poor either.

Seriously??

Have you heard of Aggie jokes? Not to mention the endless jiz jar, homoerotic, ugly women schtick??

I completely disagree. We as a fanbase are constantly derided, and, amonsgt each other, tend to be self-deprecating. See TexAgs.........
