The ref stands over the ball until he believes everyone is ready - saw it several times during The Game.

I think they did alot more harm than good trying
To sub on defense....didnt they get flagged once
and also have to burn a timeout?

Easy, youngin. Don't piss off Saban. Guy's certainly won his share of revenge ballgames.

Not exactly impressive. In all but two of the above cases, either Bama was much better (2007-2008) or the opponent was an absolute dog in the "revenge" game.
A&M and Bama will both be really god next year, as they were this year.

Basically, Aggies, what I'm saying is this is not Oklahoma State you're fricking with.

Sorry...on an iPhone, they should be getting those in New Orleans in the next year or two.

I think Saban nailed it when he called this A gimmick offense. All jokes aside Do you really believe that Saban will tuck his tail between his legs and live in fear of playing this type of team or do you think that the loss to A & M pissed him off to the point of not resting until he has retribution ?
Why did you type like this?

If I was watching the same game you were, we shut them down the 2nd and 3rd qtr and halfway into the 4th before yieldon fumbled etc.
Taking nothing away from A&M and the great game they played.
The SEC will have nine months to watch film and defense Sumlin and JFF.
The spread is not unlike the wishbone or any other system . Coaches in the SEC will scheme it and ultimately, A&M will move from the spread to more power type offense. JMHO.

So ATM should not leverage JF's talents to make Saban happy? If a coach and his team/defense are superior, they should be able to limit the offense.

Since he joined the SEC back in 2000, it seems he's always had problems with certain kinds of offense, provided of course they have the players to execute them.

they only scored 9 points after the first qtr. we took a bit longer to settle into the speed. but thats not what cost us the game. bamas offense tanked, thats why we lost.and no im not trying to discredit aTm. they played a helluva game.

Agree! A&M played a good 1st quarter. After the first quarter they really didn't do shite. I think we knew how to stop A&M. I also think our players got drilled in the first quarter and got too far behind. Saban will damn sure be ready next time.

250 yards and five trips into Alabama territory = Not doing shite.
Got it.
In three quarters we put up more yards than half of Bama's opponents and more than they average giving up for entire games.
Why wasnt Saban ready this time? It's not like he didn't know what we'd be running, he's been bitching about it for months.

How many points after the 1st quarter. Bama lost but don't act like A&M just whipped us and Saban is worried about you guys. He's not. We got hit hard in the 1st qtr and then pretty much shut the scoring down. Take the win but shut up already. We turned the ball over and came out flat. 10 games and we win at least 7 .
