LSU's rushing attack with Jeremy Hill

Does anyone still doubt LSU is an even better rushing team with this guy in the backfield?
He's the real deal, IMHO. His performance the last few weeks- even while sharing playing time with the other backs- has been fun to watch. It takes a pretty good back to get 100 yards on the Bama defense, obviously- but he did.
Glad he's only a Freshman. I really believe he at least has a chance to become one of the SEC's next elite running backs.
We will see....

He can still leave after next year like the rest of our backs.

You have to go with the hot hand at this point and it is Hill giving him rest with Ware. It will be Hill and Ware pretty much from this point on. Maybe Ford and Hillard will touch the ball 6 to 8 times per game.

He does work. Nothing fancy ie Lacy and Spin Moves, but man he runs hard, quitely becoming one of the best in the country

LSU is a completely different team since Williford and Hurst were replaced with the beast freshman duo of Turner and Alexander. Add Jeremy Hill and that's a nasty trio of freshman pounding out a great run game.

One thing you can't teach a back is vision. They either have it or don't. Hill has a great blend of speed, size & power, yes. But he runs to daylight & sees the holes better than anyone on the roster as an 18 year old.
Of course Mike Ford is my Keiland Williams this year and has been his entire career here. But Hill is your bellcow right now.

Hill is a great runner very fast and powerful and with copeland blocking for him- LSU doesnt have to throw unless they have to

He is very good, worth the price of admission.

I love the fact that he is emerging but I hate how we just so easily replace people. Hilliard was hot early, but hasnt had more than 10 carries the last 3 games (is he injured?). Ford will get like 80 yards on 8 carries then they stop giving him the ball. Russell Shepard gets a 80 yard touchdown on 1 carry in a game then doesnt get another carry the rest of the game.
We give each back 3-5 carries. Who ever gets the best yards out of those carries gets the majority of the carries the rest of the game. We never even give any of our RB's a chance to get hot.

No doubt, Hill has a very bright future!

"Alexander/Turner/Hill "
Plus, Collins another 2 years. Not liking the look of this at all.

What is really scary is that all 4 of LSU RB's can gash any team in different ways. Also if teams don't take into consideration #44 that will be the Tyson Death punch. I think COpeland with a head of steam will destroy any 1 person in his way.
Hill Is just a beast with the rock. Future so bright.

Truth.
Who would've thought- honestly- that they would have the kind of success they have the last few weeks? I admit it: I am forever the optimist, but I had my doubts- especially against murderous D-lines like USCe, and especially Alabama.
Impressive. Those young guys have really played like SEC veterans. Allow me to be proud of 'em, please!!

There is a reason Hill has gotten the bulk of the carries lately. I know a lot of lsu fans like to crow about their embarrassment of riches at tailback, but I was always of the opinion they had good backs yet none of them were great. I have always thought if miles got a great back on campus then that's the guy that would get the majority of the reps and the others would be shite out of luck. Miles proved me correct. Jeremy Hill is going to be a load the next two years and once he gets pass blocking down one of the most complete backs in the country. It's crazy to think that the best 3 runners in this conference might be true freshmen. I'm not excited about facing him 2 more times

I wanted to start a new thread in-game to talk about him. He is a stud. I was very very impressed by him. Great get by LSU.

You guys should stop fellating Jeremy Hill, he prefers to force 14 year old girls into performing that task.
Didn't we fire your arse in '99? :beatdeadhorse:

And just like most great backs from the south, his college of choice was between LSU and Bama...

No doubt. He has that unique combination of size/strength/speed and with that monster Copeland blocking for him, LSU could have one of the most dominant rushing attacks in college football with solid OL play.

Bama recruited this kid very hard and I thought we had him wrapped up for a while. We know why Nick Saban wanted this kid so bad. He's a beast. Such good speed for a guy that size. He has it all, speed, size, power, cuts and he can block.
