Assuming LSU's 2013 offense looks like:
Faulk, Collins, Porter?, Turner, Alexander
Mett, Copeland, Hill, Blue, etc etc etc etc
should be a damn good team.

Bama recruited this kid very hard and I thought we had him wrapped up for a while. We know why Nick Saban wanted this kid so bad. He's a beast. Such good speed for a guy that size. He has it all, speed, size, power, cuts and he can block.
By all accounts, he liked Alabama a lot. But most (and I say MOST) kids in BR-proper dream of one day playing in Tiger Stadium as a Tiger.
No doubt, the kid created problems for himself before finally getting here. I hope he has his chite together now, and understands the opportunity he has before him. He can be really good.

If our playcalling doesn't suck and WRs catch the ball the offense should be the best since 2007.
the D could lose a ton on JRs though:
Minter
Reid
Simon
Mingo
Sam
Logan
Hope a few of them come back

Quite an understatement.

Offense has a chance at being really really good. I think the problem will be with the D if we lose all the JR's. Then again, someone else will just step up as LSU and Bama have done lately. Our LB's are really young and we have a ton of them, this will be one of the strengths of the D for the coming years.
Oh yeah, Hill is the real deal for a back that is 6'2 235 that has the speed, power and the kicker, the vision.

Great vision. Good speed for his size. he is fast enough to get to teh edge, and strong enough to turn and push for positive yards if the edge isn't there.

There is a reason Hill has gotten the bulk of the carries lately. I know a lot of lsu fans like to crow about their embarrassment of riches at tailback, but I was always of the opinion they had good backs yet none of them were great. I have always thought if miles got a great back on campus then that's the guy that would get the majority of the reps and the others would be shite out of luck. Miles proved me correct. Jeremy Hill is going to be a load the next two years and once he gets pass blocking down one of the most complete backs in the country. It's crazy to think that the best 3 runners in this conference might be true freshmen. I'm not excited about facing him 2 more times
