serious question...I wonder if the season he's having had an effect on her death. I'm sure it wasn't the main reason, but a possible contributor.

Damn, hate to hear this. For all the anger we have about the football team right now, I think that Chizik is a good guy and hate to see him have to deal with the loss of his mother.

I think it would be the other way around. No telling how this has been affecting him. Hope he can make peace with his moms passing.

Prayers sent to Chizik and fam. Hate it for him. Chizik is a good man and I am proud to have him represent Auburn and appreciate the things he has done for us, how hard he works, and his love for Auburn. Even though things have not gone well this year on the field, I feel for him and wish him the best with what he is going through.

She was 86, still always difficult to lose a parent. Based on Gene and his beliefs, I believe she is a Christian. This should bring the entire Chizik family strength. Prayers that God helps them through these difficult times.
