Our recruiting was excellent under Sherman. That is part of why we fired him for lack of performance on the field.

Johnny Football, Mike Evans, DeMontre Moore, Sean Porter, Trey Williams, Luke Joeckel, Jake Matthews, were all Sherman recruits. He was a great recruiter and developer. He wasn't neccesarily ever going to outrecruit Stoops/Mack but he could keep par, and develop better imo. Aggies are talking about the drastic difference because Sumlin has the capability to out-recruit Stoops/Brown, which is something no Aggie coach has ever done.
