Exactly. The SEC would never do this to one of its money makers, the big boys of the conference. Let's drop down to flag football & make sure no momma's little boy gets hurt.

Ole Miss needs to appeal this.

That's a terrible suspension for that kind of hit. The WR was about to catch the ball and it was just simply a big hit to prevent that. Pussification of football, hate it.

Guy lead with his shoulder and it's his job to separate the ball from the receiver. WTF?
He didn't even remotely try to make a play on the ball. However, this suspension is beyond stupid.
**Edited after I looked at the video again. It was a pretty good throw and if the Ole Miss DB makes a play on the ball it's a pick.

The hit was clean as can be, wtf was he supposed to do?

That hit at the goal line was a clean and correct. Led with the shoulder and didn't hit through the target. If the receiver wouldn't have alligator armed it and pulled up he would not have been rocked as hard imo.

Can we appeal and let him play and sit out next game if said appeal doesnt work?

In 2010, MSU's Chris Hughes was suspended a game for the same thing against UAB. I haven't heard of another suspension like this since. Has there been others?

He didn't even remotely try to make a play on the ball and definitely should've been flagged. The ball was about 3ft over the WRs head
you are watching a different replay than me. the ball was right there.

No it wasn't. Helmet to helmet contact. Should have been flagged. Not suspended though

None of what you typed besides the last sentence is remotely accurate

Pussification of football. Clean hit. Hard, but clean. No penalty.

Identical shot to Eric Reid's against State last year
