I'm not surprised, I thought I saw it happen but didn't say anything about it because I was so far away I wasn't sure.
Here's a picture of the cut on James' face from when the UGA player ripped off his helmet.

Could some of the better Missouri fans please kill this thread with fire?

No but when Franklin and co. were moving down the field at ease, and he has to come out of the game for a play it does screw up offensive pace not to mention thuggish
Nothing thuggish about it. Stupid NCAA bureaucrats created a rule that rewards defensive players for ripping off helmets in the pile, so players are going to do what the rules make them do to win.

Can't say I'm surprised it certainly looked like it from the student section, and Georgia was faking injuries to slow down the pace of the game. I'm not a fan of the new rule because players are taking advantage of it Dave Matter ?@Dave_Matter James Franklin's got a nasty bruise over left eye. Said Georgia player unhooked chinstrap and pulled off his helmet off in the pile
It's true... ESPNU's Crunch Time whole show was dedicated to this.

Hopefully not as serious as your defender's "cramps"

Sorry Georgia fans, but obviously we have some shitty, whiny arse posters like everyone else. Most Mizzou fans here know the real deal. Georgia took it to us the last quarter of the game and showed they were the better team.
Most of us can man up and admit it without any excuses.
Most of you guys have been fine, the OP is just a complete moron.

It's a stupid rule. Hopefully it won't last long.

Eh we stomped your arse down 4 starters so I don't see how we couldn't beat FAU down another starter or two.
Posted on 9/10/12 at 6:36 pm to BreakawayZou83
Yeah it is a very stupid rule. I don't see the point of it.

It was in the mid 60's. It was also an awful peculiar time for a cramp to pop up.

Stop running a gimmicky offense and defenders will stop having gimmicky cramps

Yes. I'm disappointed our coaches didn't coach our players to do this for the Georgia game, and I hope they are smart enough to do it against ASU. Teams are going to be doing it all year, and any team that doesn't do it will be at a disadvantage.
