When Does The Alabama Dynasty End?

Because sooner or later it will... Just like Southern Cal and Miami's reign in the early 2000's. My question is does it end during The Saban Era, immediately after, or 6-7 years down the road?

There hasn't been a dynasty in my lifetime.
Dynasty= A LEAST 3 national championships in a 4-5 year period.
Bama isn't a dynasty yet champ.

I thought it ended in January of 1983.
Florida had more of a 'dynasty' from '06 though '09 than you did from '09-'11.
Yours is more of a 'mulligynasty' anyway....

I'd take the last 3 years Bama had but it's definately no dynasty and you won't won't even be within 2 games of the national championship this season. Top 8 would be huge for Bama this season.

I'll actually answer the question. I think it ends with Saban. Not many coaches are successful following a great coach.

A legend passed away but the last SEC dynasty ended with the 79 season. You could well reasonably split his time at UA into two epochs but as a whole...13 conference championships and 6 major #1 awards says it all. UF would be the closest thing, but only conference wide in the 90's.

Bama has had a great couple of years but dynasty? Not even close. You'd think that someone who had Bear Bryant as their coach would understand what a dynasty is.
