Who sports the SEC's best defense this year?

UF? Bama? LSU? UGA? Those teams will have defenses that stand out with USCe also having a top notch unit. I think Bama has had the best statistical defense in the conference for the last three years. It's what wins championships for sure.

Lol, seriously I think our defense may fall a notch, but will still be a stout one, perhaps competing for top 3 in the SEC in 2012. I have some concerns with our passing defense for this season...

Alabama and LSU both have issues to shore up. On paper, Georgia has the best experience at each level. However, I expect Alabama and LSU to contend for the best overall unit again. Though, all three will be top ten nationally.

For realz though, I like the potential we have on defense this year. I'm cautiously optimistic. Definitely not a top defense, but potentially top 6 in the league.
