From what I have been told, it will be along the same lines as the SMU 30 for 30.

Possession 29:54 30:06
Total Yards 239 295

That just looks like a close game that came down to kicking. Agree to disagree then.

They aren't making 30 for 30's anymore. That was a one time thing.

Not every doc they put out is part of the 30 for 30 series.

Wrong

It is an ongoing series

It's over. They made thirty. The new documentaries that ESPN is doing are under the ESPN Films banner. (The Nolan Richardson one, the Fab Five).

The 30 for 30 ones were unique because they were all done by people outside ESPN. That's why they vary in style so much, and why they had such unique access. Albert Maysles, one of the most influential documentary filmmakers just happened to have had hours of footage of Larry Holmes and Muhammad Ali he had been unable to do anything with for thirty something years. The 30 for 30 series was definitely a unique thing.

That said, the ESPN Films docs aren't terrible, but they're a little boring unless you're already invested into the subject material.

. . like 2010 never happened. I suppose having one of the worst post BCSNC years in history can leave a bitter taste in the mouth.

So--who's the "real" Gene Chiznik? Is it 2009? 2010? Or 2011? Or the years before?

Good luck with that.

Umm...what was LSU's record in 2008? Who's the real Les Miles? Hell, who's the real Nick Saban?? A LOT of lean years in his coaching career, you know that right?

I know what you're saying and why you're saying it, but not sure it makes sense. Miles has been fairly consistent as a HC. His "bad" years are 8-9 wins. Chiz has two horrid years, 2 average years, and 1 phenomenal year. We need a few more years to form a legit opinion of him.

As for "who's the real Saban" you can't be serious. He's 47-6 the past four years. He restored LSU to places they'd rarely been and took Bama to places they'd not been in nearly 20 years. He's won titles at multiple schools and he's one of a single digit number of coaches EVER to win 3 titles.

We know who he is bruh.

Last season was Coach Chizik's 5th season as a HC. What was Saban's record and how many rings had he won after his 5th season as a coach?
