Is Bobby Petrino bigger than the Arkasas football program?

Just my opinion, but if i were the AD or senior administration member at Arkansas or any school, the only way I wouldn't fire Petrino would be if I really believed we wouldn't be able to go out and bring in someone else that would win and win the right way. The program is bigger than any one individual, and it will continue on and thrive in the future because it is being run the right way.
IMO keeping him on would be a tacit admission by the administration that he's the best Arkansas can do and if they get rid of him they will go back to HDN quality football.

I can see this going to 10 pages if someone makes a comment on the relative size of the Arkansas football program prior to Petrino.
That being said...

Yes. He's bigger than our entire universe. Now move along.

Is a captain bigger than his ship?

He needs to go. Petrino has given Arkansas fans a false sense of entitlement and status. He isn't an SEC-caliber coach. He is a Big 12 style coach. He wouldn't know a defense or a running game if it bitchslapped him across the face. He seems like a total a-hole, too.

Your fears are well founded, you may still have to face Petrino in Fayetteville.

My fears? Just gonna put it right out there, but the last several years haven't given me any reason to fear facing Petrino anywhere.

That's funny... A false sense of entitlement.

If you really believe that you can't beat LSU without him then by all means keep him. It says a lot about your program but you should definitely keep him if that is the case.

Knile Davis circa 2010 disagrees with your assessment of Petrino's running game

I can't wait to beat his and your team's asses again this year. Remind me again why you match up better this season than last?
What upgrades have you made to your defense and special teams?
I'll hang up and listen.
PS-Karma's a B isn't it?

Flash in the pan. Won't be the same coming off injury. D-Mac isn't walking through that door.

the LSU fear of BP coming to light after this incident is hilarious.

They think maybe they'll finally be rid of him?

yeah, I'm sure you're just laughing it up over there

You jackasses need to take a deep breath and actually read what I'm saying. It's a compliment to your program.

It must suck to lose to a Big 12 style coach and offense as much as you do then.
