The Auburn Plainsman awarded Best College Newspaper... again

The Southeast Journalism Conference named The Auburn Plainsman the Best College Newspaper at its 26th annual convention in Martin, Tenn., Feb. 10-11, 2012.
In addition to this award, four Auburn University students were recognized as being among the “Best of the South” in the SEJC's annual journalism awards competition.
The SEJC competition is open to the organization's member schools from eight states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee —recognized in its constitution as eligible to enter the contest. This year's competition included 433 entries from 41 eligible member schools. Judges for the competition included 23 journalism professionals from newspapers, broadcast outlets and magazines across the country.

I can see this award. The Plainsman is GREAT for lining bird cages!!!

Very true. Most keep it to the Tiger/War Eagle thing but LSU is the only fanbase i hear that throws the plainsmen part in.
(don't ask me to explain the plainsmen part, but i can discuss the eagle/tiger)
