you keep reading the Bama-loving press. I'll keep trusting the guys who called Jordan Jenkins and Josh harvey-Clemons months in advance
Feel free to believe some "insider" who probably has never even talked to Foster. We will keep believing quotes directly from Fosters mouth like this one a week ago
quote:
"I knew where I wanted to go," Foster told ESPN's Greg Ostendorf. "My family knew where I wanted to go. They love Alabama. I love Alabama. Plus, who wouldn't want to get coached by Nick Saban and Kirby Smart? They're NFL-style coaches."
The fact he committed early, has stated he's a life long Bama fan and reading interview after interview about how he's recruiting players from your state to come here.

Ok. That is your opinion.

Ray Drew appears to be officially moving to DE and Josh Harvey-Clemons will start out at Safety (a la Alec Ogletree) then move up to LB when he bulks up
I agree with Drew moving. But I wish we would put JHC at OLB then move him in. But I trust CTG.

The insider in question helps run high school football camps for kids like Foster and is rather close to the high school programs around the Southwest GA area. He has plenty of credibility.
As for your quote, 1.) Kirby Smart is getting fricked hard by someone if he doesn't get a HC gig next year, and 2.) Grantham and UGA ILB coach Kirk Olivadotti have coached for a combined 21 years in the NFL, unlike Saban and Smart. Not to mention Foster has also stated on multiple occasions that he would love to play with Tray Matthews and Jordan Jenkins. I'm not saying you can bank on him going to UGA or anything, but you are fooling yourself if you don't think we are a very big threat

Nah. Our ability to send LBs to the NFL and success on the field counts for nothing. Do you believe the non-sense bleeding onto the pages of this thread?

But, But no one would ever turn down bama to come to Athens.
Signed,

I'd love to have the first two, but I don't think we were ever a factor with Jay Rome. Crowell? It seems we might have dodged a bullet in hindsight.

I believe that RF recruitment is not over. That is all I believe. If you dont like what is posted in here. Do not click on it. Its pretty simple.
TIA

A former member of your wishlist just committed to Vandy.... Crazy things happen in recruiting.
Im just saying RF's recruitment isnt over. Im not saying we will get him, but his recruitment is not over.

Because Justin Houston, Akeem Dent, Alec Ogletree, Michael Gilliard, Cornelius Washington, and Jarvis Jones haven't done anything worthy of standing up to Bama under Grantham. But I was met with the same sort of resistance when I suggested Jenkins was looking at UGA just as hard as Bama and UF, so I guess I'll just get out of this- oh, wait. It's a UGA recruiting thread. Nah, I'mma stay in dis thang

I continued to hold out hope for McCrary, but I think it became obvious that Browne and Hackenberg were at the top of the board. I just like athletic QBs. I want to see one in Alabama's offense.

Exactly what I'm saying. And that's all I'm saying.

The difference being is that Jordan Jenkins was never committed to Alabama.

Ok. Jenkins and Tray will be in RF's ear all year. His recruitment is not over. Im done arguing this with you. Apparently you dont get it. TD24 and I arent saying we will get him. We are just saying until RF comes out and says "I am not visiting any other schools." Then his recruitment isnt over.

I know the words of Reuben Foster aren't nowhere near as credible as one of your "insiders" but it's not my opinion

"Me and Nkemdiche met for the first time not too long ago and he's cool," Foster told 247Sports' Charles Power. "I could see myself playing with him. He's a real good defensive end and one I'd like to play with on the next level."
"He was talking about Alabama like he wanted to commit right there. I was like 'do it.' I think he's going to commit to Alabama."

Exactly what I'm saying. And that's all I'm saying.
You said on the last page GA had a 50% chance

He said the same thing about Tray Mathews. So awesome, thanks for that inside info.

Lemme break it down this way, then:
Company A
- Fresh off being named Company of the year for the second time in three years
- Considered to have one of the best CEO's
- Support staff is top notch
- Historically great company
- In a pretty alright location
- Your family has been using this Company's products for years
Company B
- Considered to be a really good (not great company relative to Company A), but is currently on the upswing
- CEO is considered to be one of the finest people in the business, an openly very devout Christian
- Support staff is top notch
- Also historically very good
- In one of the best locations for any company in the business
- Your two best friends are either working for or have agreed to work for Company B
Where would you choose to work?
Point isn't that one is obviously a better choice than the other, but that it would cause a lot of thinking until a contract was signed to one company or the other

Which would mean... Bama has just as much a chance as UGA. I'm not certain he ends up at UGA, but I'm not certain he ends up at Bama either. I don't know where the kid is going to go
