Coming off a National Championship season he should get some attention.
Stats for 2011:
219-328pass/comp 66.8% 2634yds 16TDS 5INT 147.3QB Rating

People said he wasn't good enough to be a NC winning QB either. AJ seems to defy the odds and silence the critics when doubted.

The important stat is touchdowns. He needs to double the passing TD total while maintaining a low INT rate to even have an outside shot. Troy Smith only threw for 2500 yards and won the Heisman by one of the biggest margins in history.

So do you think these stats are anywhere near heisman worthy for a QB?

Being a national champion qb for Alabama doesn't mean you're an elite quarterback.

No.
Alabama's offense is too balanced for a QB to put up Heisman numbers to compare to the QBs on pass happy teams.
Plus he is good, but I don't think he is top 5 QB in the country good.

Don't act like he wouldn't have some gay nickname if he played at LSU...

52 passing touchdowns? That's like June Jones Hawaii Timmy Chang/Colt Brennan or Houston Andre Ware/Klingler numbers.
Leach's Air-Raid didn't even produce those types of stats.
What are you on about here? Do you even think this is close to a reality?
