Harbaugh may be the top coach in all of football. I definitely think he's better than Saban. Saban is probably a better recruiter though.

Harbaugh, and that's not a shot at Saban, either. I realize that Saban is more proven at the college game, but I'll easily take Harbaugh in the NFL and I could understand taking him over Saban in college, too. He'll probably never return to the college game, though.

Screw Harbaugh and the frickin 49ers. Saban

Is this even a question? Harbaugh and it's not even close.

Probably the guy with 3 rings.

Harbaugh. He made winners out of mediocre teams from virtually the same zip code.

Harbaugh's a coach. Saban's a better recruiter. That nobody can talk but me stuff doesn't fly with grown men.

I guess LSU fans, and every other SEC fanbase for that matter, finally found something to hold over Saban's head.

Jim Harbaugh or Nick Saban?
Saban was a colossal failure at the NFL, whereas Harbaugh is making an instant impact
who is the better coach?
Rick Pitino was a colossal failure as an NBA coach, but he has been a damn good NCAA coach. It's apples and oranges.

Williams costed Miami a ton of draft picks and he chose drugs and training in acupuncture over getting hit on the medial collateral ligament.

Alright I'm gonna try to keep my homerness out of this. Harbaugh is the man. He is a great fit in the NFL because he has that tough guy persona and can really motivate NFL guys. He's also really helped Smith improve. I would take Harbaugh over most coaches in the NFL right now. He's really good. Now, when it comes to college a person would have to be an absolute idiot to not take Saban over every other coach in the country. He works his arse off and dominates almost every aspect of college football. I'm more of a college fan and wouldn't take a single coach in college or the NFL over him.....in college of course.

Harbaugh has had great success at Stanford and San Fran. Much harder to do that than at LSU and Bama.
Harbaugh by a mile
Harbaugh by a mile

Saban is a better college coach, and Harbaugh is obviously a better NFL coach. The best of the best win on the biggest stage, and that's the NFL. It's harder to win in the NFL and Harbaugh is doing exactly that in just his first year.
Harbaugh > Saban
Harbaugh > Saban

Both are great coaches, but I'd take Harbaugh at any level of competition.

What difference does it make? It doesnt defeat the fact that Harbaugh will be the next coach at Alabama win Saban retires. 49ers can't match Bama money......
