I wouldn't put us first.
The swamp people look pretty good to me. I think they are the team to beat...but who knows?

#6 preseason ranking for us...knowing our streak of exceeding expectations, we could end up with a chance to play in Atlanta.

Id flip LSU and bama, but other than that I agree. UGA, USC, and arky are all hard to read for next year as to who will be better, so those three are interchangeable.

Kinda sad that UGA and USCE are only ranked that high because of how shitty the east is

I assume Arky is below UGA and USC simply because it is in the West.
ETA: If Auburn gets the QB situation worked it, we could be much better than people expect next year. Still going to have a glaring weakness at LB though.

On the contrary, we're only ranked that low because of how good lsu and bama are. 2012 will be one of the best teams Richt has fielded. Loaded on defense, great QB, terrific receivers, loaded at RB. The only real question is OL, but that's obviously a big question.

Bama # 1 despite having to replace something like 14 starters.
Arkansas #5 BECAUSE we have to replace 9 starters.
ESPN,

I think it has been proven over the last several years that Alabama's players are better than Arkansas's players.

It's just Edward Aschoff, the dude has been nothing but shite since he started at Espn. It used to be Chris Low alone and that was bad enough, now we have this 23 year old nerd who knows dick about football.
These are power rankings, not where you think the teams will end up based on schedule and shite like that. It's just who are the best teams top to bottom.
Putting Arkansas below Carolina when we've shown time and again that we're the superior team is ridiculous.

Did anyone else catch Gary Danielson on Finebaum yesterday on why he didnt think LSU would be his #1. He stated in his opinion that the new LSU QB would force the style of offensive play calling to change. LSU would not have the QB's feet to rely on as much and the offense would go to more TE and pro style play calling. He said this would be a big adjustment to make. Keep in mind he didnt say LSU would not be to top 5 he was just saying that to him it would be enough to keep them from being #1.

Yes, what is incorrect? We do have a great, record setting QB. We also have an immensely talented backfield, even though some of it is unproven. 'Loaded' may have been a poor choice of words, but I'm not worried about RB. OL is the only area that I am worried about.
And as we saw this year, a stout defense can make up for some offensive deficiencies, and we should have a fantastic defense. It was #4 in the country going into the bowls and we return 10 starters.

Low expectations usually mean a good season for A&M.
High expectations have always failed under Sherman, Fran, and even Slocum.

You mean those players that are graduating?

I'm not saying Bama DOESN'T deserve to be 1st or 2nd preseason. I'm saying that it's hypocritical for ESPN to overlook Bama's departures only to use Arkansas' departures, which are on a lesser scale, against them. It's not logical.
