Tiger offensive coordinator Greg Studrawa watched that game film very closely before Monday’s BCS title game.
“When you play a team that runs the option like that and does it very, very well, that’s a scary team to play,” Studrawa said. “They did a great job in that game and that was something that we obviously watched and took to heart some of the things they did — how they executed what they did in the option game.”

“I’d probably be real happy if they came in and lined up and did all of Georgia Southern’s plays,” Smart said. “They don’t have Georgia Southern’s offensive line, which is smaller and quicker. They don’t have Georgia Southern’s A and B backs, which are cut artists.
“It’s not what LSU does. So for them to simulate that, it’s going to hurt them more than us.”

Sounds to me like Kirby is concern trolling..

Kirby Smart says UA staff has looked at every LSU offensive play vs. UA the last five years, despite different OCs under Miles.

Fishing again. You need to request a name change.

I love how he is second guessing an OC that is also our online coach as well as a head coach that was an olinman at Michigan. Dumbass DB coaches should watch their mouth.

That was fun!

LSU was definitely planning on running the triple option all game. Kirby did well if he prepared for that.

Because executing a cut is that difficult?
Because Our O-line isn't already smaller and quicker than yours?
I'm not saying we run the option like GA Southern, but to say it's beyond the ability of our team to run the same scheme as them on your defense is ludicrous. Regardless if Kirby said it or not.

I can't remember one time where LSU had ran a triple option play, so I don't think Kirby has us right where he wants us.

But when the triple option is mixed in with our normal offensive play calling, its gonna give Kirby fits.

To say that a team that doesn't run the option exclusively will be as effective as a team that solely runs it is what's ridiculous. Your OL's size and speed in comparison to Bama's OL speed and size is irrelevant.

Really weird of Smart to presume to tell a fellow coordinator what the hell to run.
He scared.
Turn it around and note the absurdity of the argument:
:“I’d probably be real happy if Bama came in and lined up and did all of West Virginia's plays,” Smart said. “They don’t have WV's offensive line, which is smaller and quicker. They don’t have Wv's A and B backs, which are cut artists. “It’s not what LSU does. So for them to simulate that, it’s going to hurt them more than us.”
Of course, you take what has worked against your oponents, tweak it to your personnel and run it. To suggest otherwise as Smart did is asinine.

Bama obviously doesn't know what to expect,I love it.So many ways LSU can beat you, especially on that track.

We could run the option just as effectively as them since the talent difference is so large. It's like the talent difference between LSU wide receivers and Bama wide receivers

First, I didn't say we'd be as effective you illiterate mook.
B. I compared our O-line speed to your D-line. I'm sorry your stupid arse needs clarification for that, I'll go ahead and take the effort to type out the obvious from now on.
fricking chimp.

I think with the personnel we have here now we could run the option just as effectively if we game planned for it like an fbs school does.
