we won't have to see Danilo again ever hopefully.
This is dumb. Danilo has been good, especially for a player who doesn't get consistent game time.

Back to back wins against Arsenal and then another against Chelsea just make me even more frustrated about that Wigan game.

We have them for auto and home ins. Their rates seem roughly competitive, but they can probably generally be beat. Their customer service is very good though from my experience.

I've never had to make a claim though.

They also usually pay out a small yearly dividend.

I agree! It's a great day!
Silkay Ilkay bossed the game with a MOTM brace. Great way to kick off the Round of 16.
I'm fine with this being yellow since it's soft side of boot, but could understand red since it's pretty reckless regardless.

Mane's is an easy red. I don't understand why people still debate this nonsense. He knew Ederson was coming, and still goes studs up. Give me a break. I mean look at that state of this.

Would you be surprised if it happened today?
I wouldn't invest. Trump said it had to be see-through.

Bobby Madley is a fricking piece of shite. That's the 3rd straight red in this game that has either gone unpunished or only yellow.

Edit: Back to 15!

Chelsea are shambles today.

That finish from Phil Jones was sublime.

I believe Tottenham scored before the game even started.
Looks like City pull out.

Pretty clear that City have leaked that Leicester wanted 95m pounds, which included a player going the other way. Also possible that if it was Mangala that City just overvalued him to increase the appearance of the value that Leicester wanted.

So if City claim Mangala is worth 25m, then 70+25 = the 95m.

Still wow.

Edit: Also there were rumors the player was Roberts, not sure how much that would have worked though.

Supposedly City pull out of Mahrez deal. Reports that Leicester wanted 95m pounds for Mahrez. 95m is insane.

I'd be livid if I was Mahrez. Leicester have priced him out of 2 moves in 2 successive transfer windows.
It's going to be hard to go all of Feb and part of March with only Aguero, Sterling, Bsilva and Brahim though. I'm not one for panic Jan buys for every injury, but the sitatuion is dire. Maybe the could just buy Fred and playu false nines every game, but that leaves only Brahim and Sterling as wingers for many very important games. Sure we have others that can play there, but we become very narrow when they do.

As you said we were always looking for another forward even if it waited till Summer. Moving the purchase to Jan makes sense bc of the overall situation, as long as Mahrez was on the shortlist, it's fine. He's a good age and a capable match winner. I'm hoping it goes through.

re: Who to Start a Roth IRA with

I'd always suggest Vanguard or Fidelity because of the variety of low expense index funds.

But I don't do much IRA investing in anything but low expense index funds.
Not sure if Mahrez is going to happen, but City seem to be doing all their summer business in January since it's a world cup year with an early ending to the summer window.

I'm pretty happy with their line of thinking, honestly. Plus add in bonus of going for the quadruple while they have a chance.
It's always tough to get a true sense of a transfer fee.

But the reported fee for KDB was 55m, Laporte is 57+4m

Mendy was around 52m.

Walker was 45+5

Stones was supposedly 45+5.

Sterling was 44+5.

BSilva was 43m.

Mangala was 42m after third party payments.

1.5 years ago Laporte's release clause was 40m.

City have wasted a lot of money over the past several years on players in the 15-25m range, but I can't really complain about the players they've spent >30 for. The only real miss was Mangala.

The >30m club for City is Laporte, KDB, Mendy, Walker, Stones, Sterling, BSilva, Ederson, Mangala, Sane, Otamendi, Fernandinho, and Aguero.

The only other player City has paid that much for was Robinho back in 08.

Just as a side note, City still has never paid as much for a single player as Chelsea, United, or Liverpool.

He's good and young and between him, stones, and Nico we have a solid back 3 for the foreseeable future. We finally have three REALLY good options and don't have to rely on Vinnie.
I don't disagree. I'm very excited for this to happen regardless of the fee. I guess in relation to VVD it's a good value, but it's not exactly a bargain.
