Obviously Mathieu committed a penalty on dre during that punt..........but I wouldn't go as far as calling it a cheap shot. Dre Kirk did his best Vlade Divac flop and made it look much worse than it actually was.......IMO.

It was clearly a penalty. "Cheap shot" implies implies malice - that 7 swung his arm intending to land the blow where it ended up. I think he was trying to alter Dre's direction by hitting him across the chest and missed.

TM was frustrated with Dre because they had been going at it all night on punts. I was enjoying watching them battle.
Dre flopped to sell the penalty, but didn't expect to go down that awkwardly and hit the back of his head on the turf. After TM hit Dre he grabbed his other shoulder and kinda spun him around.
It was more of a frustration penalty by TM combined with an oversell by Dre.

probably a cheap shot...the doubt comes from the fact that while it may have been a cheap shot the flop reminded me of soccer fairies

it was an aggressive blatant type of tackle by mathieu but looked to be worse by dre's acting. i found that quite weird for dre to do that seeing as how all hes good for is putting all his weight into his hits when the ball carrier is helpless. dude has a future on the arkansas baseball team.

Dre Kirkpatrick yanked Mathieu down by the facemask on the previous punt and there was no call.
They were jawing the entire game. It got of hand when Kirkpatrick yanked Mathieu down at the end of a punt as they ran down the field.
