Yeah except what you just typed there about deaths is not true. Perhaps you should actually look at the numbers before you open your mouth and just spread more hysteria. More testing, younger people getting tested, and elderly people taking better precautions to protect themselves are just a few of the reasons why we will not see the spike in deaths we saw at the beginning.

Not sure I would include LSU in there for the 90's. Obviously you have forgotten what a dumpster fire the program was for most of the 90's.

Ok, first off the kid is a pitcher. He throws 80 - 100 pitches every game so even mentioning game film is ridiculous. His tendencies and stuff were well known after maybe two outings last year combined with Dunn's pitch calling. Also he isn't a finesse pitcher that is out there trying to fool every hitter he faces and relying on off speed stuff. He can flat out throw it past most hitters when he is on. This is a mechanics issue and a kid that is pressing because he knows the scouts are out and he is overthrowing. He will get his head straight and settle down. Dominant pitchers don't just suddenly get figured out by watching film.

Midweek games, particularly early in the season, are there to try and find the players that can make a real contribution to the team that aren't already pegged as starters. Bertman did the same thing when he was the head coach. Wouldn't you prefer to find out that Smith is going to sheet the bed when things don't go right in a midweek game vs Lamar rather than on an SEC weekend. Bugg has always been hit and miss so not surprised at all by his performance. The offense was there and we learned a little something about the new guys.

Ok Mongos, this just seems to be too far above all of your heads. Let me try explaining it in a fashion you might understand. Football guy must go to class. If no class, no football. Football make lots, and lots of money but no class means no football since football guy can't get smart while playing the football. Football not being shut down, but no school means football players are not able to play because the NAACP say so. Make football guy very ANGRY! Hope that helps.
