Yes it could. But it won't.

Seriously though, first half of that schedule is worse than Boise's. Mullen is fooling all of you. Anybody could be something like 3-4 and it would be debatable if they were as good as State.

That schedule is too back loaded. I agree though, if we beat Auburn, we start off 7-0.

We heard y'all were going 10-2 or 9-3 last year and y'all still sucked. State is and will continue to be State

State has improved, but I don't anticipate a time coming where State should ever just assume a win over Tennessee.

I can't believe that MissSU, a member of the greatest football conference in the world, would agree to schedule a game @ TROY. especially after paying @ UAB in 2011. if you're going to play those teams on the road, you should at least play Delta State in Cleveland to keep the money in state.

It doesn't benefit State one bit to try to play teams like Oregon, Ok State, etc OOC. LSU, Ark, and Ole Miss aren't too far removed from playing an easy OOC schedule.

LSU 09-Washington, ULL, La Tech, Tulane. Ark 10-ULM. Tenn Tech, UTEP, aTm. Ole Miss 10,11-Jax St, Tulane, Fresno, ULL, BYU, So Ill, Fresno, La Tech.

Ole Miss or State have no business playing anything other than cupcakes OOC right now.

Yes, ask Ron zook how exciting 2011 was. This schedule smells just like Illinois 2011.

Second half looks tough, though. Not sure I would want the schedule lopsided on the front or back. I always like it when LSU has at least a couple of early tests so that they are ready at crunch time.
