A shame, really, I live 2 miles from Ga. St. line and know a lot of Ga. fans. Always look forward to playing them, especially since the Blackout.

We haven't played you since...so you're looking forward to us playing for the first time since then? How wonderfully insightful.

If LSU, Bama, UF, and Auburn are the statement of dominance, what tier does that put UGA in?

Certainly above Miss St. Most definitely above Butler

Again, not sure how GA winning or losing ONE GAME has anything to do with the perception of the conference either inside or outside. Even after GA lost, the conference was and still is considered the best.

What you don't think that passes the smell test, that uga would rather play ole miss another year than to play Bama??

Begged? Sure, ole miss at home is way easier but I'd hardly think Georgia would "beg" to delay the series. Richts undefeated in Tuscaloosa, perhaps we begged to keep it there

Why would Richt be scared to play a team he has a better record against??

Why is Mizzou in the east again?

They should have moved Auburn to the east.

Screw the 3rd Saturday in October.

I agree, should have move AU to east and have Bama play them once every 4 yrs or so. Would much rather keep rivalry with Tn. Knoxvegas is closer to my home.

It doesn't matter who we want to play, the fact is is that Richt and Mcgarity have no say in the SEC schedule. So you bammers keep thinking we dodged you and flame and flame and flame

Not butthurt Pal, I acknowledge the fact that you guys pounded us in our house when we had on our blacks.

This bullshite that people are spewing now about how we may/may not have hypothetically begged to backout of a game against Bama is fricking bogus and downright retarded. Ya, we're terrified to go up against a good team? We replaced Louisville with Boise when we were coming off a 6-7 clusterfrick of a season and had a bunch of our freshman making most of the plays.

I may have misdirected my anger towards you, but I think i speak for most of my UGA brethren that could give a rats arse who we play. And we sure as hell aren't scared of big bad Bama next year. Anyone suggesting that we are backing out of that game is delusional.

I know Florida isn't going to be very good next year, but I still think they're being written off too fast next year.

Florida's team was really bad and should have beaten Georgia and could have easily beaten USC in a season where both teams won 10 games.

Don't count UF out just yet.
