How many times did he bring up the fact that they lost to a shitty Iowa State team?

I think it's good people are outraged because it will bring change but he really has gotten a pass for that loss. If Saban had dropped a game to Vandy or Miss State to kill our season, then I promise someone would have poisoned his bushes by now.

The system does suck.

That loss also sucked though.

I don't know much about Weeden but I can't see Murray ever starting in the NFL

Weeden isn't as good as the QB they had the past few seasons, Zac Robinson.

Can anyone tell me where that guy is at now?

Murray may never start in the NFL, but Weeden isn't the next Manning...

I hate how he's using this to make his argument.

Gundy should have called ESPN out when he was on their tv show last night instead of being a pussy and saving it for radio.

Their loss is what differentiated OSU from Bama.

Their argument would have some basis if Bama lost to Ms. State/Tennessee in other words an Iowa State equivalent.

He's playing to the peanut gallery that thinks any team that plays defense is "boring". This represents 90% of the media.

No, he has a point for those who are not LSU or Bama fans and a small minority of those who will find the the game to be intriguing and entertaining to watch.

However, blow-outs are not entertaining either which is exactly what would happen if OSU was in, the game would be over in the 1st quarter.

Thought it would have been good to see a nfl caliner qb like weeden against lsu's defense. We have already watched that play out

Wait, what have we already watched?

Yes, the unanimous "better looking" team always blows out the less impressive looking contender.

Quality of wins and conference championships also differentiated the two teams. Never before has "quality of loss" carried so much weight.

No matter how you feel, I think this is a bit disingenuous.

Where are all the past examples of potential BCS #2s losing to 6-6 teams?

And giving up as many points to them, as they did ISU. 37 points to a .500 team.
