You can make a valid argument for Okie State getting into the BCS title game based on quality wins, but if I hear another person argue against a rematch and use the quote about terrible offenses I'm going to . Anyone else sick and tired of hearing this? I mean both LSU and Alabama average right at 40 points a game outside of their one game against each other. We may not agree on a rematch, but I would imagine LSU fans are as sick as Alabama fans of hearing about how neither team has any offense.

How does 2 LSU beatdowns on Bama in 1 season affect their recruiting?

As much as it pains me to do so, I agree with you.

I realize LSU and Alabama don't have high-octane offenses, but LSU and Alabama both certainly have capable offenses that have put up some big numbers against some pretty decent defenses.

Well, we both have great running games, and "decent" overall offenses. Neither team could win in a shootout against someone, but of course neither team will ever be involved in a shootout with the way we run the ball, eat clock, and play defense.

I really don't care.

As an LSU fan, I expect shitty things to be said about my team. We are only "just as good" as teams we already beat, and are always ripe for the upset the following week.

Makes it that much sweeter when we nearly hang half a hundred on our next opponent.

About as bad for LSU as Bama running up the score on LSU in their home dome.

LSU is averaging almost 41 points/game in games not against Alabama and Alabama is averaging almost 39 points/game in games not against LSU. That would make LSU No. 10 nationally in scoring offense and Alabama No. 13.

Also, LSU has the No. 1 scoring offense in the SEC.

Yeah, you immediately know that anyone who says this is not really an SEC fan at all, and only watched them once this year because it was the so-called "Game of the Century."

It's a shame so many people have only watched LSU/Bama in this 1 game, and don't seem to grasp they both have very good offenses, but legendary defenses.

I agree 100%. We might be fighting with each other, but we can at least turn to the rest of the country and tell them that they are full of it.

People who say that LSU and Alabama don't have good offenses don't know anything about football at all.

Alabama and LSU fans unite! Shake da hatas!

Yet according to the experts from around the country who probably haven't seen either team play other than November 5th, No. 10 and No 13 equate to "terrible offense".

True and who cares...two teams from the same division have hijacked college football and those douche-bags from the north don't like it.

Agree 100%.

And if these offenses score 40 on SEC defenses, they'd score 60 on an OSU defense.

Alabama and LSU are hated upon for their offenses because neither team has a "flashy" offense that puts up 500 yards through the air. That's what people like to see. Traditional, pro-style offenses are now seen as out dated systems from a bygone era. Yet with those traditional, out dated systems, Alabama and LSU are both averaging around 40 points per game.

their offenses do suck. That's why UGA will beat LSU. No 9-6 game here.

UGA 24 LSU 16
