Richie Brown is the most underrated LB in America I don't get how he is only a 3 star. He has 5 SEC offers along with Stanford and Indiana. He is leading the state in tackles with 181 and has scored 18tds.

Yep 3 stars. Recruiting "services" don't want to come off early season guesses.

Update: After final playoff game last night in 2nd round for Long Beach he has finished the year with:
23 TDs and an unofficial 210 total tackles on the year. (film review pending) The total tally for his high school 5A career will then be approx 523 tackles.

I still think we need another safety worse than antyhing, preferably a JUCO safety but yes OT is very important. we should get one of Stanley or diamond.

I think Diamond is a hog FWIW.

we are very much set at WR even without DGB.

DGB is a program changing athlete we land him and we will once again have the best receiving core in the SEC and probably the country in the near future.

This.

Recruiting wise tho I have to agree with Kwon Alexander being the man. I think Holland will develop into a solid MLB and Landrum and McKinzy both have some upside. But besides Frost there's not a lot to get excited about on the outside. Alexander would be a huge pickup

We also must hold on to TJ (which I think we will) because he is gonna be a monster for us the next few years

Why does he not wear socks? He will get dogged from day 1 at LSU if he shows up looking like Huck Finn in football pads

And if he comes to State fans will love him and not care if he wears socks or not.

Yeah, right. Umm those are socks he has on, slick. They are pulled down because he just skull dragged about 5 defenders into the end zone for a touchdown.

The thread was titled 'must have', not 'highest ranked'. So, under that premise - due to our type of offense, quality offensive tackles, especially left tackle to protect our QB's bline side, is critical.

So, I have to go with Diamond or Stanley as well.

Of course the highest ranked would be DGB, and he would of course make an immediate impact. But not if our QB doesn't have time to get him the ball.

BringIT do you think that Richie Brown is a LSU lean?

We'd love to have him in Starkville and he's been the #1 LB on our board since last spring.
