Saban on his soapbox again...

Saban took a break from his busy schedule of throwing his players and fans under the bus, as well as bitching about the "pimps", to complain about not having NFL-style overtime. I wonder what brought that up???
Oh, but don't worry - he said it isn't "sour grapes" so it must be true. I think he would fit right in here at TD.

I read the article this morning and it is pretty hilarious. Actually says that NFL type overtime would make the coin toss less important haha

So what's your opinion on OT? Does he not make a valid point?

NFL-style overtime
A blend of the two would be perfect, or something like Lou said on CFL.

Probably not sour grapes. After all, the way that OT went down, format probably wouldn't have mattered.
It was, however, pretty dumb for him to bring this up right after that game since everyone will assume that's why he's saying it.
I do agree with him. I don't really like playing a totally different game in overtime than you do for 4 quarters.

no "sour grapes" AT ALL
I bet everyone in the room kept a straight face when he said that
he's mad and he died a little bit on the inside because of Saturday

NFL overtime is one of the biggest jokes in all of sports

You'd still have to score points Nick, and no flame when I say, your team was DONE, they were whipped. I knew it was over when you let the last minute run out.

It is for teams with great defense and little offense.

I find it hilarious that he thinks this given the fact that he could not even score 3 when getting the ball first

If there was NFL type overtime, the game would have ended in a 6-6 tie.
