Is this Arkansas' year?

I had a thread earlier where I said LSU was a year away (national championship wise) but it seems Arkansas has a better chance this year than next year.
The 3 main wide receivers (and yes Cobi Hamilton seems good) are gone after this year, Knile Davis is probably gone, Bequette gone, Stadther gone, Franklin gone, Jerico Nelson gone, Tramain Thomas gone, Isaac Madison, etc.
I assume Wilson will be good (Petrino is the best offensive head coach in the conference and turned Casey Dick into a quasi-servicable SEC QB) and he'll be back but they lose a lot, maybe more important are their defensive losses.
They'd have to go 11-1 (beating either Alabama or LSU on the road) but this seems to be their year roster wise.

This is a pretty loose statement, what is your definition of "sniff"?

What makes anyone think that Arky is all of a sudden going to beat us this year? I don't see it happening

They'd have a much better chance of it being "their" year if they didn't have to travel to LSU and Bama. That will be their downfall in hopes for a NC type season.

I don't necessarily think we win in Tuscaloosa but one loss may be enough this year. I don't see anyone in the West running the table.

I'm not saying I think they'll go to the NC game this year, just that this year is their chance compared to next year. On the other hand, while LSU fans seem very optimistic this year, I think they're more likely to go to the NC game in 2012.

Anything less than 9-3 will be a disappointment in my eyes and when you see @Bama and @LSU its gets even harder to say it.

With the talent we have at our disposal both on offense and defense it would be the perfect storm if our schedule would cooperate. Bama and LSU on the road present a HUGE problem in Petrino's 4th year.
Winning road games, bowl games and beating Bama seem to be a problem. Hopefully this team can come full circle this year and overcome these obstacles to get to the SECCG.
