Ah damn, they removed the sticky. I saw it coming , thread turned into the usual. I was really hoping my thread title would be mentioned on some news outlet, so I could be e-famous.
I am creating my own newsoutlet and your thread title will be mentioned, in fact it might be the said name of my news outlet. Afterall, SBB and Clay Travis are now condidered news outlets so why can't I have one?

Just stating how it's played out to date. Bama has been forthcoming, showing actions, being open about things. Auburn has been no comment, garbage, energy vampire. They haven't exactly been open about any part of it, from the beginning. There's a pretty stark contrast in how both have played out in how the University's handled things. One open and honest, the other huddled and suspicious.
I would have to disagree. In the beginning, even before the Schads/Thayers/sbbs started spewing rumors, Auburn was forthcoming. They responded to SEC and NCAA with phone records, Newton financial records, etc, etc. They found nothing to report. Will you now agree that there is nothing wrong in the AU/Newton recruitment?

Good Lord you are terrible. You just can't deal with anything without whining about how AU has been perceived, can you?

I was wondering, if AU had, after investigating the Cam incident, sent a cease and desist letter to Milton McGregor saying he hasn't done anything wrong but should stop a certain activity and then sent him a disassociation letter stating he hadn't done anything wrong, but that sentionalized journalism could make him and AU look bad and thus he was being disassociated, would Bama fans take the same positions they are in this thread?
I realize the situations are a little different, but it seems somewhat similar.

Still, lol at the non certified letter, how convenient that it was hand delivered and can't be verified.
Who the hell is this idiot?
So this was a process server who delivered the letter?

Have the bammers explained why TR was at dinner with Tom?
Why disassociate with a non-booster that didnt break any rules?
Why did Saban defend Tressell by saying that the coach shouldnt be blamed the same day that the cease-and-desist letter went out?
Why send a letter to tell a private business owner to stop doing something that didnt violate any rules?

Why would someone try to sell something for $180,000 then turn around & give it away for free?

Read the damn letter, it spells it out quiet nicely

He has an opinion and was asked a question ?

NCAA Bylaws require institutions to take action if potential allegations arise. They sent him a letter with the rules and said please cease and desist from this activity. Also educated the business man on NCAA rules.

This thread was a fun experiment, we should do it again in a week or two.
