I have never been to an SEC away game and me and a few buddies are trying to plan a trip this season. I am looking for some feedback on which stadium has the best gameday atmosphere, good tailgating, fun people, and has an cool stadium, etc. help me out.

You know you are going to get the most Homer answers, right.
With that being said: Tiger Stadium and Bryant Denny Stadium. IMO.

BDS. I haven't been since the expansion but it looks very nice and I see no way that it's not as loud as Tiger Stadium and The Swamp once you get 100k Alabama rednecks in one place with a roof that traps the noise in.

MSU
Just kidding, the place is a shithole.

In my experience it really depends on the game you go to.
If you go to Bryant Denny for the Kent State game, it will probably suck, since the opponent sucks and the game kicks off 11 in the morning.
If you go to Bryant Denny for the LSU game, you'll be blown away(no pun intended).
I'm a Bama homer, so I'll leave BDS off. My favorite road trips have been Baton Rouge, Fayetteville, and Gainesville.

I've been to every stadium minus Gainsville (obvious reasons) and my two favorite were Tiger stadium, BDS, and Fayetville. Can some flagshipper send me a link with the origin of "woooooo pig sooie" because that shite is just hilarious.

I've been to Gainesville, Oxford, Tuscaloosa, and Auburn.
Of those, the best trip is Tuscaloosa and it really isn't close. Tuscaloosa is an awesome college town, with a great bar scene, gorgeous campus, and the only fans who come close to LSU in tailgating. I gained a lot of respect for Alabama as an institution/fanbase after my visit. And BDS is fricking sweet.
This year I'll be making trips to Dallas for Oregon, Tuscaloosa, Oxford, Nashville, and Starkville.

Although I haven't been, this is what I have heard from many other LSU fans. I want to make this trip one day.

Only way we'll get to see this one is if we go watch an Arkansas game not involving LSU.

I love our stadium. Lots and lots of food choices in our food court, as well as outside the stadium.
As for the rest of the SEC, I have been to Columbia, Tuscaloosa, Starkville, Knoxville, Nashville, and Oxford.
Of those, Tuscaloosa was the best trip. Granted, I stayed and partied with the Sigma Chi's there, so some of the better things were a little easier to come by. If you catch my drift.

Which sucks. I still enjoy games in the Rock, but I wish we played you guys in Fayetteville. If nothing else, at least every other home game for us.
Frank Broyles may have been an ole dirty bastard, but the man knew how to get facilities with all the amenities.

Although LSU doesn't play them for a while, Athens, GA is the place to visit. By far the best college town in the SEC.

ARK is the only SEC stadium I have not been to in the last 10 years.
The swamp has the best stadium, but I enjoyed the tailgate and atmosphere at Tenn and Georgia better.
Tenn has a great "sailgate" on the river but I really enjoyed Georgia's campus. South Carolina had surprisingly good nite-life. Oxford had the best looking women, but the Grove is overated - and I hate ole piss.
But of course LSU is better in every catagory

BDS, The Swamp, or JHS are my three favorite away games. I like Tiger Stadium, but thats not away for you.

I've been to every SEC stadium minus Fayetteville, frick you to whoever keeps putting our game in Little Rock, and BDS is by far the best. From the time you get into Tuscaloosa you know you're there for a big time event. It doesn't really feel that way any other place not named Tiger Stadium.

I would love to play LSU in Fayetteville in 2012. Maybe a once every 20 years scenario. That would kick arse.
