There's absolutely no way a SEC line should be running looking as silly as Bama's offensive line on this play.

joe pendry had no idea how to coach obviously...
to make a comparison based on one play is ridiculous, especially with the injuries their OL had last season.
stupid post, imo.

Interesting. However, that was just one play.

First, that paticular play selected look like it still resulted in a first down for Alabama. Second, are you really questioning an OL coach of Joe Pendry's status? He had six offensive linemen drafted in four years at Alabama. Two of them in the first round. Third, Anthony Steen was seeing his first significant action as a redshirt freshman.

Yeah, not exactly a great sample size.

Gut-hooked is always horrifying to see.

Pendry is a pretty good OL coach but Grimes is one of the top 5 OL coaches in the nation. Anybodys OL will look good with loads of talent but ours was the best in the nation with a lone 7th round draft pick out of the 5.

Pendry was an OL coach for 25 years in the NFL. I would say he was a bit more than "pretty good", and certainly among the best in college football before he retired.

We will have to see what the future holds for AU after losing Mike Berry and Byrom Isom 5th year seniors, Ryan Pugh and Lee Ziemba four year starters. Its kinda scarry losing that much talent at once.

Ummk, what about the fact we outrushed bama by 1500 yds this year?
So you're saying Bama had a better offensive line last year?
