Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma State, and Stanford make the cut.

I didn't think Alabama was still in it, but I figure he still stays at home.

All I care about are offensive linemen and passrushers. Those are the only two areas of need right now.

While I think he ends up at OSU, I could certainly see why he would try his game elsewhere. Imagine being a son of a legend in college and the NFL and following his footsteps to the same college at the same position.
If he were any other position, I think he would be a lock at OSU.

The defensive line class is nearly done. Alabama already has its Jack LB for 2012. The offensive line class is coming together, slowly.

Yeah...because we aren't losing Trent Richardson at the end of next year.
Eddie Lacey is good and all but Dee Hart isn't an SEC-caliber back up. He's too small to run in between the tackles - at least right now.

I think he's going to Oklahoma State. Never count out Saban in recruiting though. And with the way Jimbo Fisher has been recruiting I wouldn't say they have no shot

Mark Ingram wasn't sec caliber and was too small to run between tackles when he was a freshman also.

He wouldn't be pushing for the #2 spot if he was "too small".
He isn't a scat back, he is small, yet stout RB ala MJD or Ray Rice...

Sounds like the same story told about a certain RB from the 2008 class.

With a great offensive line, a team can have a RB like Glen Coffee rushing for 1300 yards or QBs like John Parker Wilson and Greg McElroy competing for national championships. With a better pass rush, the youth and inexperience in the secondary wouldn't have been as exposed as much last year.

Just stop. If you're not bashing McElroy, it's someone else.

I agree.
Hart will be a good one for bama. I don't understand some of the dumbass hate for him from some of your fanbase.

It's either the fact people take one look at his measurables and assume he's a scatback and doesn't fit the offense or the people who think "he was just given a scholarship to keep HCD from looking elsewhere".
He's being severely overlooked...

It's amazing what one inch difference in height can do to the image some people have of a RB.

Exactly.
Not every back has to be 5-11 or 220 pounds to run through the tackles.
Hell, Darren Sproles was 5-6, 180 and made it through 4 years of Big12 football...
ETA: Not comparing Sproles-Hart playing style wise, but just an example how you don't have to be huge to survive big time football.

Honestly Bama is the best fit of the 4 schools.
Saban has put RBs in the NFL runs a pro style offense and always has a great OL.

I remember you tried to tell me Kwon Alexander was a Jack LBer.

When was this? I would need a link. Regardless, he could play the position, but he's more suited to the money, which is essentially the "Jack" in some formations. Maybe you should familiarize yourself with the 3-4 before talking smack.
