Hope he is okay. It is understandable, the rant is not a priority in times like this. Where does he live?

Did your parents place make it out okay? Just talked to a buddy who has a place on Martin, and there house was spared. Said the home across the water was demolished.

I can't remember exactly (and I don't want to post it here if I'm right). I'm pretty sure it's up near Fultondale, and a tornado hit there too.

13 has been on for sure. deaux was on last night at 11:30 so he appears to have made it out as well.

Great ! Hope deaux68 is okay,too.
I'm telling you, from Tuscaloosa NW to Birmingham about 10 miles west of 20-59 looks like a war zone. And some parts of NW Alabama from another tornado, Jasper, Phil Campbell,Cullman and then over 65 to NE Ala like Boaz and Albertville look like Vietnam in '68.

So when does SEC Rant get back to it's normal vile behavior?

I don't have it in me right now -- probably another week or two after all the funerals.

i think most of the other schools will be back at each others throats in a few days.
i think until things start getting cleaned up in the state and back on track the bama and barn fans wont be going at each other.

I don't post much on the SEC Rant, but I appreciate this thread. I made it through.
The big one that hit Tuscaloosa passed right over my town (Trussville), but that was one of the few times throughout that it actually left the ground. Apparently it sat down again just north of Argo.
No other way to put it than to just say that we were extremely blessed.
Best wishes and prayers to all who were affected.

I live in the Cahaba Heights area of Vestavia Hills just south of B'ham. My condo was in the middle of the "pre" storm that hit about 5:45 yesterday morning. My condo just suffered superficial damage but my neighbors weren't so lucky. However, no one was injured. Won't have lights until the weekend but I'm very fortunate.

Thanks guys, means a lot.
NGT,
My parents were fine, couple of limbs down, but nothing too serious. Thanks for asking, man.
