He will serve two days in jail and will be on probation for a year. How many points will this count against Bama in the Fulmer Cup? I know Auburn got 5 points with Eric Smith.

I'm pretty sure this is germans by a couple weeks.

EDIT: It says published today. However, I could have sworn he had a DUI a few days after NSD.

Thanks for posting. I've been wondering if he'd claim that the breathalyzer was faulty.

These things happen and hopefully he has learned from this. Now if it happened a second time, then he should be trouble

He should have rapped out his defense. I bet that would have gotten him off the hook.

This is child's play compared to his behavior in Knoxville last spring.

I think its only 1 or 2 points. It depends on how drunk he was I think.

You get extra points if you hit a girl

Maybe. But what he was doing in knoxville last spring was childs play compared to what the rest of the vol football players were doing.

I think you get more points if you had previous arrests too.

This seems like a harsh punishment for a first time DUI. I guess Tennessee is pretty strict. Saban must be nearly convinced that this guy will be the starting LT or I don't think he would have accepted him. I'm sure he is on a thin rope. If the kid can somehow pull it together, 2 years as a starting LT for Bama should land him an NFL job.

This guy is probably dumb enough to get in trouble again. He was given a 2nd chance at Bama and the first thing he did after signing was get a DUI.

Any chance he gets suspended, or will he just run some stairs and carry Saban around on his shoulders for a week?
