Apparently you missed the Under Armor contract Ms. Columbo.

How is he already "rich"? I thought his Daddy and family were just po' church folks.

Seriously?

He was responding to Peter King's direct question about his new deal with Under Armor and what he thought it meant for him, hence the entertainer/icon response. I agree it probably wasn't the smartest thing to say at this point of his career, but he answered what he thought to be honestly based on the context of the question.

Yes. I didn't realize he was such a douche at Auburn. I really thought he was just having fun.. nowadays I'm starting to believe that he truly believe's he is the shite.

From what I've read, it's being taken somewhat out of context. It was in response to a question about his Under Armour endorsement and what he'd like to be for them.

That being said, he's be better not saying anything like that quite yet in his career.

You say this like it's strictly a AU thing?

paying him 180k under the table. Protecting him from media to the point he doesn't have to answer questions after the NCG. Letting him run around by himself dancing surrounded by cameras while the rest of the team stand arm and arm at midfield. Like I said, it's an AU thing.

Seems like your facts may be a bit distorted.

LOL from the fan of the team currently on probation. Maybe your team should get off probation for a year or two before you start talking about other teams cheating.

Kind of like Kenny Stabler. How many DUI's has he had? 20? Now there is an icon.

I must have missed when Kenny Stabler stated that he was an entertainer and icon. And he accomplished more in one season than any other QB had in an entire career. But stabler wouldn't make those statements because say what you will, he has an IQ above 60.

Damn, y'all are so fricking defensive about a douche that spent all of 11 months on the plains.

Until the moron stops letting douche drip out of his mouth every time a microphone is in the vicinity, people will comment on his said douchiness. So y'all need to learn to

I am not defensive about the dumb things he says. I have always talked about how bad he is in front of a mic. I think you are deflecting from your terrible work at trying to drop a Boom earlier.

I'm not sure about his head, but one thing is certain: His brain is way too small...

I'm beginning to wonder how that kid passed any classes...

Other players were running around as well, just didn't have the camera on them all the time and the rest of the team wasn't arm in arm at mid field. The FCA guys that pray after every game maybe.

It was a joke, Nancy.

I just thought it was funny to use the "all rich people are douchebags" defense when the guy has been "rich" for all of about 2 minutes.

He's been a douche since he came out of his Momma's womb. A paycheck with a few zeros on it has nothing to do with him being a douche and you know it.

It was in response to your post...."Is it shocking with the treatment Newton has been given by everyone around him at AU".

All fans put their star players up on a pedestal. Cam says dumb things and AU fans defend him. Stabler averages 4 dui's a year, but he is still a bama legend.

And I'm not so sure about that IQ thing.
