You are really missing out if you are not from Alabama and do not have facebook friends that are barners. They are ready to lynch this man. I hope he gets a fair trial.

I hope he moves back to Texas. Guy is a criminal, the justice system will take care of him. If an Auburn person commits a crime against him or UA property then I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest extent possible and given the maximum sentence.

Only in Auburn will they rally around a thief, and an attention hog who whores his kid out to the higest bidder. But let a sumbitch poison dem dare trees, and it's on!

I imagine all in athens would be the same way had someone uprooted your little bushes...while supporting a bunch of theifs, abusers, drunks and thugs....

At the very least.

He'd be better off in jail.

This man will be better off when he has a change of heart, regardless where it happens. People can change. They have to have a burning desire for change and surrender their selfish motives and dysfunction to/for something much greater than themselves. I've seen it happen a lot of times.

The hedges have been taken out twice. Once for the 1996 Olympic soccer games, and after the near riot when fans rushed the field after beating UT in 2000. Yeah, people were pissed after that, but not to this degree. Goddamn, they're just trees and hedges

A auburn fan did by planting the rye grass at BDS. I know it's not to this level, but I didn't hear any talk of wanting them caught and charged with anything. Something like that would probably only be a fine or something, but it is was a criminal act.

A spade is a spade no doubt. And whoever did that to the grass as BDS should be punished as well, however, there is a difference in a joke that does NOT destroy property and a joke that does destroy something. A historical landmark at that.

Replant the grass and the Barn can replant the trees. No harm, no foul.

I never said what he did to those trees wasn't worse than the grass thing. As a matter of fact I said it was worse. I was only pointing out that it was a criminal act and I don't remember too many if any au fans condemning the action.

Auburn fans have been destroying those trees for years. The irony is delicious.

The reason you didn't hear an uproar is because of what you said. What this retard did to those trees is a lot worse. You can replant grass in that area of BDS and it will be fixed in no time. That tree was 130 years old, an historcal landmark, and a huge part of the Auburn tradition.

Which is hilarious.
It's like a husband (Barney) beating his wife (Oakley) to the point that she will eventually die and Barney knows that he will eventually murder her. However, Barney being exceptionally cruell, he planned ahead knowing of her impending death and forced her to have children, so he can beat them when she is gone. Well Barney and Oakley decide they are going to this guy named Al's party. Barney completely shows up Al at the party and Al is pissed. Al murders Barney's wife in retaliation. Is Barney really a victim?

Try to comprehend what I am saying. I understand those damn trees were important to you guys. I get that what the guy did was crazy and uncalled for. (I will say after listening to you guys for the last two days some of you tree hugging mother frickers are almost as crazy as the guy who did it.) I was responding to whoever it was that said they would hope if a au fan did anything criminal to Bama property they would be prosecuted. I don't think that is true at all. It only applies if they do something you deem worthy in your head as being bad enough to warrant punishment. Bama still has to spend money and resources to fix the grass.
