1.Oklahoma Returning personnel on both sides of ball.
2.LSU- Talent EVERYWHERE,just make the right calls.
3.Bama-Defense, and manager at qb,good RB depth.
4.Stanford,Returning,Luck, and personnel, probable heisman winner, even though Harborough is gone.
Again,it's jmo. If oregon can play for all the marbles,so can stanford.. Name your top 4 to contend

LSU, Bama, Oklahoma, Nebraska

Bama
LSU
Oklahoma
Ohio State (if they win all the games that TP is suspended)
I don't think Stanford is an NC contender because of losing Harbaugh, and I don't think Oregon because of their losses on the OL and defense

They don't fall apart until they get to the bowl game, so I can easily see them getting skull fricked by Oregon, Ohio State, Stanford, LSU or Bama in the BCSNC.

Playing Oregon, then @ West Virginia, I don't know...how good is WV gonna be next year?
My 4:
1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3. Oregon
4. LSU?
Is this BCS "championship" contender? Or just BCS bowl, it isn't stated. If just BCS bowl then I'd like to add a few.

You know, its interesting, but it isn't like LSU has had #1 recruiting classes every year or anything. Hmmm. Maybe that talent is getting developed and coached properly. Maybe, just maybe, something good is happening at LSU besides talent just falling out of the trees.

It's not as if LSU coaching up Mississippi State level talent. There's not a whole lot of difference in any top five class, other than for the fans to crow over who's class finshed at the top.

Oklahoma - Texas is down, and there doesn't look to be another challenger in the big 12 now that Nebraska is gone and OSU lost their OC.
Alabama - Probably the best defensive team in the country. Some questions on offense, but the defense should be good enough to win most of their games.
Oregon - They get USC at home, and the only other legit threat in the conference right now looks like Stanford, but they have new coaches.
DARK HORSE
TCU/WVU - I think that if the winner of this game could be undefeated. TCU is already the best team in the conference without ever having played a game in the big east and WVU got a serious upgrade on their coaching staff. I think both will win all of their big east games, and the winner of this game will have a chance at the national title as long as no one else is undefeated. 1 loss is probably too much, unless that one loss is WVU losing to LSU.
Also, why do people pick LSU to win a title? The only way they can win is if everyone loses 2 games. Miles can't coach a team to less than 2 losses. It's impossible.

TCU is still in the MWC this season. They go to the Big East in 2012.
