Is Auburn's God & Family thing readying their Players for the Inevitable?

I wonder if that is why they play that card so hard. So when they get slammed by the NCAA the coaches can say this was all God's plan. Just wondering.

It was God's will that Trooper hands out cash in envelopes . Who can say why ? It is not for us to question God's will . You should be ashamed for questioning God. Why do you hate Auburn ? Why must you defy God ?

the thing with religion is that you never blame God for anything bad, you just justify it by saying you misunderstood His will....
regardless, it'll still be nice if they faulter. it'll twist their twisted minds concerning the God angle for a small little while before they justify it.

They have been plugging this stuff since day 1, therefore I really doubt that there is a correlation.

Isn't it about time for a "Vandy needs more respect" post from you?

I remember when Tubs fired Tony Franklin that Franklin mentioned in an interview afterwards that the whole "religion" scenario at AU left him feeling uncomfortable. He said that Tubs & staff prayed often, talked about doing God's work and how God guided them in their lives. Franklin said he was just trying to coach football and he didn't feel it necessary to bring God into it.....
So, I think AU has been pushing the religious angle for a long time. I don't think the previous staff were quite the zealots that the current staff is though.

It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't such obvious hypocrites.

Yeah, I could overlook the blatant "God Thing" if the actions of many AU men weren't so corrupt.

Why does it bother you personally? And if it is personal, then isn't it in fact your problem?
For the record..it's all God's plan Kiwi!

I dont think God is in it. I think they sold their souls (and their dignity)to the devil for Cam Newton and next season he's going to come calling for payment in full.
