FIFY. They were under sanctions in 1957.

Speaking of which they used to have the same ads in GA theatres around ATL. Anyone seen if those billboards are still up around that area?

This one is clearly new as it has 13-0 and SECCG footage in it...

I was too awestruck by the "family" atmosphere to even notice...

Did the pay sites interview you as you left to see how much you liked the commercial?

Jeff Lee is reporting that 4* Tigerdroppings poster Golfer gave the visit to the theater a 10. "I thought the commercial was kinda cool. The movie was fun," he said. Golfer is now trending up on the Auburn Hot Board and is considered a strong lean to the Tigers. His commitment should come sometime soon.

I am not sure what else the marketing department would do with their advertising budget if it wasn't advertise?

I think the whole point of the thread is to point out how pathetic it is you need to advertise/have an advertising department to sell season tickets at a "major, successful" SEC school like Auburn.

The athletic department has a marketing budget. I don't understand the problem? Just reaching out to the sidewalk fans....

But again, most big time, big conference programs don't have to "reach out to the sidewalk fans" if that's what you're calling it because they don't have any season tickets to sell. There's this thing called a waiting list at most places and in some cases, like your cross-state rival for instance, that waiting list is extremely long.

They have a pretty solid following in Alabama (and GA) but most of the casual types will become Alabama fans first.

Yea... just make an entire movie about the head coach that has only been there 3 years. That's fricking awesome advertisement.

My family has been on the waiting list for several years for season tickets. We are like in the 2-3 thousand range I think. This is after the damn expansion
