Mississippi State about to be SCREWED by the bowl selections

Im hearing that if Auburn holds on to win this game, the Chick-Fil-A bowl will select South Carolina which I have NO problem with. However, I DO have a problem with this.
The Outback will pick 7-5 Florida (who Mississippi State beat head to head @ Florida)
The Gator Bowl will pick 6-6 Tennessee who is lucky to even be bowl eligible.
Thus forcing Mississippi State to the Music City Bowl
The moral of this story, the Bowl selection committee HATES Mississippi State.
What are you guys' thoughts???

My dream was for you guys to beat the shite out of Boise in some bowl.
I agree that Tennessee and Florida shouldn't be going to those. Chick-Fil-A & Outback are still open to an SEC team aren't they?

Bowl games are about the money. They would be dumb not to pick those schools.

I have read some inference to that from a Chick Fil A rep the other day. I think they do kind of like an SEC East team over an SEC West. Sucks but we had the answer - win more games!

People everywhere hate those fricking cow bells. As long as you embarrass yourselves by bringing those childish, high school toys to Div 1 football games, look to have to settle for leftovers from the real teams.

That is frickin' b.s. and State is getting screwed much like we did in 2005. The SEC offices take care of their darlings from the East and their two darlings in the west of Alabama and Auburn.

Ole Miss went 7-4 in 2001 and didn't get invited to a bowl at all, so consider yourself lucky

Bowls are private organizations who need to turn a profit or at least break even. Florida in the Gator bowl does that. MS St does not. Most fans outside of the SEC couldn't name a single player on State's team.

MS State would get a better bowl, but the bowl officials don't want to have to listen to those annoying cowbells the entire game.

We beat 8 teams this year including 4 from the SEC one of whom is Florida who is getting a FAR better bowl than we are.
