Just curious.....
1) Physically Dominant
2) Great 'Football' player
Basically, do you think he's good because he is so physically dominant w/out much football skills (ala Shaq is Bball) or do you think he has excellent 'football' skills (ala Tim Duncan)

Faster, less punishing Tebow.

He's physically dominant and can run fast which is a nice football skill to have. He can develop into a better passer at the next level. Auburn fans will watch him and not know whether to cheer for him or hate him for the state of their football program.

He's pretty dang punishing. When he lowers his shoulder pads, he delivers a blow.
Just ask Jerico Nelson.

Tebow trucked people regularly. Newton generally avoids contact.

Why would Shaq or Duncan need great football skills to play basketball?

What?
Dude, it's a comparison.
Shaq=dominant, 0 basketball skills
Duncan=the most fundamentally sound bball player ever imo.
Which one is Newton like as it pertains to football.

Skillful runner with average at best passing skills. Vince Young at worst in the NFL, not sure what the top side would be.

Cuts in line in front of teammates and gets 2 to go boxes of food at team dinners.

If he is the Shaq of football, chances are Newton will be an enormous bust. There have been only a handful of NFL players who were so physically gifted that they "out-athleted" the NFL. Barry Sanders, Michael Vick, Randy Moss, Bo Jackson, maybe Randall Cunningham and that's pretty much it. All of those players were generational talents. We might not see the likes of Barry, Bo, Randall, Vick and Moss again in our lifetimes. Cam is great but I don't think he's on that kind of level athletically.
